TENDER NOTICE

Competitive tender in sealed covers are invited by

the Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering Central

Circle, Ernakulam for and on behalf of the Governor of

Kerala for the supply and installation of 10 Ton per day

capacity Cold Storage Room at Pathiyankara Fish Landing

Centre from ‘C’ Class or above registered contractors/

firms of State P.W.D., Irrigation Department or proven

manufacturers or sole selling agents/distributors

authorized by their manufacturers with sufficient

experience, through Registered Post or Speed Post. The

tenders submitted through any courier service will not be

considered.

Tender Number and Name of work & Probable Amount

of Contract—16/2011-12/HECC—Supply and Installation of

10 Ton per day capacity Cold Store Room including

construction of plastered, meshed platform for the

compressor, supply and installation of imported or best

quality indigenous compressor, supply and installation of

imported or best quality indigenous condenser, fabrication

of conditioned room space by using 4 inch PUF panel,

electrical panel installation, insulation of piping and

fittings, testing and commissioning by using permanent

electricity power etc. complete at Pathiyankara

FLC—` 7,25,588.

EMD—` 18,200.

Cost of tender form—` 1,500 + 4% VAT.

Period of completion—3 months.

The tender forms can be had from the office of the

undersigned on all working days from 8-12-2011 to

13-12-2011 during working hours in between

10.15 a. m. to 3 p.m. and up to 1 p. m. on 14-12-2011 on

application in writing, proving the eligibility and on

payment of cost and VAT. Tenders for the work shall be

submitted in sealed cover with superscription of the name

of work on or before 3 p. m. on 20-12-2011 to the

Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering Central

Circle, Ernakulam-18. Tenders received after 3 p. m. on

20-12-2011 due to postal delay or on any other reasons

will not be considered. Department will not be responsible

for any such delays. If the last date of receipt of tender

happens to be a holiday, tender will be accepted upto

3 p. m. on the next working day. Preliminary Agreement

signed in Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 100 and document

for required EMD pledged in favour of the

Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering Central

Circle, Ernakulam-18 are also to be submitted along with

the tender. The tender submitted without preliminary

agreement and required EMD will be rejected outright.

The tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on the last date

of receipt of tender in the presence of tenderers/

authorised agents present at the time. The firm period of

the tender shall be four months from the date of opening

of the tender.

Government Order No. (Rt.) 255/2004/F & PD dated

29-6-2004 and allied orders will be applicable for these

tenders. All the conditions in the Kerala P.W.D. and all

other conditions prevailing for consideration of tenders

will be applicable to these tenders also. The undersigned

reserves the right to reject the application for issuance of

tender forms and also the submitted tender of any

tenderer without assigning any reason. While evaluating

tenders, regard would be paid to National Defence and

Security consideration.
