The tender forms can be had from the office of the

Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering South

Circle, Thiruvananthapuram in all working days from

20-12-2011 to 29-12-2011 from 10.15 a.m. to 3 p.m.

and up to 1 p.m. on 30-12-2011 on application in writing

proving the eligibility and on payment of cost of tender

form and VAT.

Tenders in sealed covers superscribing

the name of work and tender number should reach the

undersigned on or before 3 p.m. on 4-1-2012 by

registered/speed post only.

Tenders received after 3 p.m. on 4-1-2012, due to

postal delay or on due to any other reasons will not be

considered. Department will not be responsible for such

delay. If the last date fixed for submission of tenders is

declared to be a holiday, tenders will be accepted till

3 p.m. on the next working day.

Exchange of tender

documents is prohibited.

Preliminary agreement is to be signed in Kerala

Stamp Paper worth ` 100 and sufficient EMD as Demand

Draft pledged in favour of the Superintending Engineer,

Harbour Engineering South Circle, Kamaleswaram,

Thiruvananthapuram should also be accompanied along

with the tender. Tenders submitted without enclosing the

preliminary agreement and required EMD will be rejected

outright.

The tenders received will be opened at

3.30 p.m. on 4-1-2012 in the presence of the tenderers

or their authorized representatives present at the time of

opening.

The firm period of the tender will be

4 months from the date of opening of the tenders.

All the conditions regarding notice inviting tenders

in the Kerala PWD/HED and all other conditions

prevailing for consideration of the tenders and allied

orders, will be applicable to this tender.

Government

Order (Rt.) No. 255/04/F&PD dated 29-6-2004 and

allied orders will also be applicable to this tender.

The

undersigned reserves all rights to deny the application for

tender documents or to reject the submitted tender

without assigning any reason. On evaluation of tenders,

regard would be paid to National defence and Security

considerations.
