The Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering
Central Circle, Ernakulam for and on behalf of the
Governor of Kerala invite competitive tenders in sealed
covers for the following works from registered contractors/
firms of State P. W. D., Irrigation Department, Central
Public Works Department and Port Trust through
Registered Post or Speed Post. The tenders submitted
through any courier service will not be considered.

The tender forms can be had from the office of the
undersigned on all working days from 20-1-2012 to
25-1-2012 during working hours in between 10.15 a. m.
to 3 p. m. and upto 1 p. m. on 27-1-2012 on application
in writing, proving the eligibility and on payment of cost
and VAT. Tenders for the work shall be submitted in
sealed cover with superscription of the name of work and
tender number on or before 3 p. m. on 2-2-2012 to the
Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering Central
Circle, Ernakulam-18. Tenders received after 3 p. m.
on 2-2-2012 due to postal delay or any other reasons will
not be considered. Department will not be responsible for
any such delays. If the last date of receipt of tender
happens to be a holiday, tender will be accepted upto
3 p. m. on the next working day.
Preliminary Agreement signed in Kerala Stamp Paper
worth ` 100 and document for required EMD pledged in
favour of the Superintending Engineer, Harbour Engineering
Central Circle, Ernakulam-18 are also to be submitted
along with the tender. The tender submitted without
preliminary agreement and required EMD will be rejected
outright. The tenders will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on the
last date of receipt of tender in the presence of tenderers/
authorized agents present at the time. The firm period of
the tender shall be 4 months from the date of opening of
the tender. All the conditions in the Kerala PWD and all
other conditions prevailing for consideration of tenders
will be applicable to these tenders also. Government Order
No. (Rt.) 255/2004/F&PD dated 29-6-2004 and allied orders
will be applicable for these tenders. The undersigned
reserves the right to reject the application for issuance of
tender forms and also the submitted tender of any
tenderer without assigning any reason. While evaluating
tenders, regard would be paid to national defence and
security consideration.
