agencies for executing the following works in the Forestry

Training Complex (Rajiv Gandhi Nagar), PTP Nagar,

Thiruvananthapuram for the Office of the Addl. Principal

Chief Conservator of Forests (APCCF), IHRD for and on

behalf of the Governor of Kerala. Last date for receipt

of tenders will be 3 p. m. on 31-1-2012. The tender will be

opened at 3.30 p. m. in the presence of the bidders

present on that date. The tender can also be sent by post

well in advance so as to reach this office in time.

Complete details and other necessary documents can

be obtained from the Office of the APCCF (IHRD) on any

of the working days till 1 p. m. of the last date for receipt

of tenders. Tender forms can be obtained by remitting

cash including sales tax with necessary applications. The

cost of tender form will not be returned. The terms and

conditions for tender works as applicable to the Kerala

Public Works Department will be applicable to these

works also. Tender forms are not transferable. Provision

of the G. O. (P) 84/97/P&T dated 19-8-1997 related to

PWD tenders will be applicable here also. The Earnest

Money Deposit will be accepted only as demand draft

from a nationalized or a scheduled bank. The earnest

money deposit has to be pledged in the name of Addl.

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (IHRD),

Thiruvananthapuram and the name of work must be

entered on it. A preliminary agreement in stamp paper

worth ` 100 in prescribed form should also be submitted

along with the tender. The tenders without the

preliminary agreement will not be entertained. The

successful tenderer(s) will be liable to remit all the taxes as

per rules. If the tender date happens to be a holiday,

the tender will be opened on the next working day at the

same time.

The Government will be at liberty not to undertake

any work after issue of the tender notification.

Separate sealed competitive tenders are invited for

the following work indicated given below from ‘C’ class

Registered P. W. D. Contractors/ Authorized firms so as

to reach the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Timber

Sales Division, Punalur before 3 p. m. on 30-1-2012. The

tender received will be opened by the Divisional Forest

Officer, Timber Sales Division, Punalur or any other officer

authorized by him at 3.30 p. m. in the presence of

tenderers present at that time on the same day in the

office of the Timber Sales Division, Punalur. Tender forms

can be purchased from the Office of the Divisional Forest

Officer, Timber Sales Division, Punalur on any of the

working days till 1 p.m. on 30-1-2012. The registered

contractors will be supplied with the tender forms only on

the production of their registration cards. The price of

the tender form is non refundable under any

circumstances. Tenders received after the due time and

date and not accompanied by proper Earnest Money

Deposit will not be entertained. The tenders not

the registered PWD contractors for the following works in

the Meppady & Chedelth Range of South Wayanad

Forest Division, Kalpetta. Though the following works

were notified for tender on 20-12-2011, no persons had

purchased the tender forms for these works and hence

Re-Tendering. Tender forms will be issued from this office

on 8-2-2012 up to 1 pm and will be received up to

2.30 p.m. on 8-2-2012. The received tenders will be

opened at 3.30 p. m. on 8-2-2012 by the Divisional

Forest Officer, South Wayanad Division, Kalpetta or by

any other officer duly authorized by him in the presence

without adequate EMD, incomplete, defective or belated

tenders will be summarily rejected. The undersigned

reserves the right to reject any tender without assigning

any reason thereof. The Co-operative Societies, rendering

the tenders should produce true copies of relevant orders

exempting them from remittance of EMD/security along

with the tenders if any. Otherwise they will have to remit

EMD/security applicable.

Each and every tender should accompany Preliminary

agreement in Stamp Paper worth ` 100 (Rupees One

hundred only) duly signed by the tenderer. Tenders

TENDER NOTICES

Sealed competitive tenders are invited by the

undersigned on behalf of Governor of Kerala in the

prescribed form from eligible contractors/agency/firm for

the following works in Sulthan Bathery Forest Range

during 2011-12.

Name of work with estimate amount—Installation and

maintenance of Solar Power Fence at Rampally in Sulthan

Bathery Range during 2011-12, 2.5 km.—` 2.92 lakh.

EMD—` 4,200.

Cost of tender form— ` 600 + VAT.

Period of completion—upto 2 months.

The tender is fixed to be conducted at 3.30 p.m. on

30-1-2012. The tender forms can be purchased from the

office of the undersigned during office hours up to 1 p.m.

on 30-1-2012. Cost of tender form is not refundable. The

tender form should be properly filled up and should be

submitted on or before 2 p.m. on 30-1-2012. It should be

accompanied all necessary documents along with Earnest

Money Deposit by way of Bankers DD or Fixed Deposit

or National Saving Certificate pledged in favour of Wildlife

Warden, Sulthan Bathery, payable at Sulthan Bathery. The

intending tenderers should furnish a preliminary

agreement in stamp paper worth ` 100 along with tender

for each work separately. Incomplete tender or tenders

without necessary documents or tenders not in

accordance with tender conditions will not be accepted.

Tenders will be opened and scrutinized at that time by the

Wildlife Warden or an Officer Authorised by him. The

Wildlife Warden reserves the right to exclude any item

from the tender or reject any tender either partly or in full

without assigning any reason thereof. If the tender could

not be conducted on the notified date due to any reason,

the tender will be conducted at the same place and time

on the next working days as per the same conditions.

The tenderer/agency/firm shall be abide by the following

conditions in the Circular No. 4/2009 dated 27-10-2009

of the Principal, Chief Conservator of Forests,

Thiruvananthapuram.

CONDITIONS

Since the work of installation and maintenance of

the power fences are to be executed by the

tenderers/agencies/firms having experience in the

field Certified Copy/Copies of the Certificate/

Certificates issued by the District Level Officer/

Officers of the concerned Department/Departments

to prove that the work was satisfactorily completed

by the tenderer/agency/firm should be submitted

along with the tender.

Only best quality equipments or materials are to be

used for the power fence. The equipments/materials

should possess quality certification by Central

Power Research Institute, Bangalore or DGS &D,

New Delhi.

Samples of Red Insulator, Stain Insulator, Poly

Carbon, Poly Propalyne, Wire tightner, Joint Clamb,

Lead out Cable, 12-SWG High tensile wire,

14-SWG Winding Wire etc., should be submitted in

sealed cover, having name and address of the

tenderer at the time of submission of tender.

The warranty/guaranty seal on the Energizer

should not be removed or defaced or damaged. The

guarantee/warranty period should be mentioned

and submitted along with the tender.

Always the wire of the power fence should have

appropriate tension. But it should not have over

tension.

AC main should not touch the Energizer on no

account.

The tender/agency/firm should extend technical

assistance in the maintenance period of the battery.

Lightening arrester should be installed to cut off

the electric connection temporarily during lighting

or heavy wind.

The fence should not be installed by providing

facility to pass current directly to energizer from

the charger or solar panel.

The preliminary agreement in stamp paper worth

` 100 the tenderer should include that be will

undertake the maintenance of the proposed Solar

Power fence for next 10 years and the tenderer

shall be responsible to it also.

The above work will be conducted with Co-operation

of the Eco-Development Committee in Ranges. If there is

possibility of the extension of fencing line at any place

the work should be executed getting approval from the

concerned Assistant Wildlife Warden. The contractor/

agency/firm should collect the extra executed work cost

from the Eco-Development Committee through the

Assistant Wildlife Warden.

The contractor/agency/firm should be given

sufficient awareness to the Eco-Development Committee

members in maintaining the power fencing in the

guarantee period/or up to 10 years from installation.

Quality materials should be used for installation and

maintenance of the power fencing work. The Contractor/

agency/ firm will be liable for maintenance of the power

fencing line for 10 years after completion of the work.

The conditions laid down in Circular No. 4/2009 dated

27-10-2009 of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests

will be applicable in this tender.
