It is hereby notified for the general information of the public that Acacia timber collected from the various Acacia
Plantations in Palode and Paruthipally Ranges of Thiruvananthapuram division, will be sold in tender/auction sale as per
the schedule furnished below subject to the detailed tender/Auction sale conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 49
dated 14-12-2010 in Forest sheet page No. 589 to 595 by Chief Conservator of Forests (Protection), Thiruvananthapuram,
vide Notification No. Pro.(5)-5628/2010 dated 2-12-2010 and other rules and conditions in force. Tender forms will be
available in Divisional Forest Office, Thiruvananthapuram and Forest Range Office, Palode and Paruthipally on payment of
` 200 and VAT. Tenders will be accepted till the date fixed for tender/auction sale upto 9 a. m. in Range Office, Palode/
Paruthipally as the case may be. Tenders received after the stipulated date and time will not be entertained. If the date
for Tender/Auction happens to a public holiday, harthal or strike, the auction sale will be held in the next working day at
the scheduled time and place. Tenders will be opened immediately after the auction sale and further action will be taken
as per sale conditions. The intending bidders should satisfy themselves about the quantity and quality of the materials put
up for tender/auction sale and no complaints will be entertained later on regarding the same. Further details of tender/
auction sale will be available from the Range Office, Palode and Paruthipally. Materials taken to stock up to the day before
the auction will be included in sale and hence the quantity shown is approximate. If there is no bid or part bid in the
1st day of auction, the remaining materials will be put up for sale on subsequent dates and time shown in the schedule.
The Auctioning Officer has discretion to conduct the auction completely or partially and to postphone the auction without
assigning any reason, thereof.

The filled up tenders will be received in this office upto

an officer authorised by him on the same day at 3.30 p. m.
at the office of Divisional Forest Officer, Konni in the
presence of the contractors attending on the date. If the
due date happens to be a holiday, the next working day
will be the due date.
The tender forms are not transferable. The earnest
money deposit noted against the work should be paid
along with the tenders by Demand Draft (Cheque will
not be acceptable) pledged in favour of the undersigned
payable at any Nationalised Bank/Scheduled Bank.
Incomplete tenders and tenders without EMD are liable to
be rejected. The undersigned reserves the right to reject
any tender without assigning any reasons thereof. All
other conditions prevailing in the Kerala P.W.D. and Forest
Department are applicable to this tender also. The tenders
not containing the prescribed preliminary agreement in
Stamp Paper worth ` 100 will be summarily rejected.

Separate sealed tenders are invited for the
following work indicated given below from Registered
PWD Contractors and those who have experience in
building construction and maintenance so as to reach the
Office of the Assistant Conservator of Forests, Social
Forestry Division, Palakkad before 3 p.m. on 16-2-2012.
The tenders received will be opened by the Assistant
Conservator of Forests or any other officer authorized
by him at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the office of the
Social Forestry Division, Olavakkode, Palakkad. Tender
form can be purchased from the office of the Assistant
Conservator of Forests, Social Forestry Division, Palakkad
on any of the working days and till 1 p.m. on 16-2-2012.
The registered contractors will be supplied with the tender
forms only on the production of their registration cards.
The price of the tender form is non-refundable under
any circumstances. Tenders received after the due time
and date and not accompanied by proper Earnest Money
Deposit will not normally be entertained. The tenders not
containing the prescribed preliminary agreement in Kerala
Government stamp paper worth `100 will be rejected. If
the tender date happens to be a public holiday, tender will
be received and opened on the next working day at the
same time and venue.
If the tender not conducted on 16-2-2012 the same
will be conducted on 22-2-2012. If the tender is not
conducted on 22-2-2012 the same will be conducted on
24-2-2012 as per the same conditions mentioned above.
All the rules in force in Public Works Department
regarding the tender notification will be applicable to this
tender also. The Assistant Conservator of Forests reserves
full rights not to accept the tenders without assigning any
reason thereof.

Competitive sealed tenders are invited by the under
signed on behalf of Governor of Kerala in the prescribed
form from eligible contractors registered with Kerala PWD
for following civil works in Kozhikode Forest Division in
Kuttiady Range during 2011-12. The tender is fixed to
be conducted on 15-2-2012. The tender documents can
be purchased from the office of the undersigned during
office hours upto 1 p. m. on 15-2-2012. Cost of tender
form is non refundable. The tender documents should be
properly filled up and should be submitted on or before
2 p. m. on 15-2-2012. It should be accompanied by all
necessary documents, along with Earnest Money Deposit
by way of bankers DD, or fixed deposit or National
Saving Certificate or any approved certificate drawn in
favour of Divisional Forest Officer, Kozhikode, payable
at Kozhikode. The intending tenderers should furnish a
preliminary agreement in stamp paper worth ` 100 along
with tender for the work. Incomplete tenders, or tenders
without necessary documents or tender not in accordance
with tender conditions will not be accepted. Tenders will
be opened and scrutinized at 2.30 p. m. on the same day
in the presence of those tenderers who are present at the
time by the Divisional Forest Officer, Kozhikode or an
officer authorized by him. The Divisional Forest Officer
reserves the right to reject any tender either partly or in
full, without assigning any reason thereof. If the tender
date happens to be a holiday or the tender could not be
conducted on the notified date, due to any other reasons,
the tender will be conducted at the same place and time
on the next working day, as per the same conditions as
detailed below.

Sealed competitive tenders in the prescribed forms
are invited till 3 p. m. on 15-2-2012 from approved ‘A’
class contractors of PWD Kerala for the following works
by the undersigned for and on behalf of the Governor of
Kerala. Tender form can be had from the office of the
undersigned on request in writing till 1 p. m. on the
date of tender on payment of its cost and taxes. The
last date and time of receipt of tender in sealed cover
superscribing the name of the work is at 3 p. m. on the
tender date. The tender will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on
15-2-2012 in the presence of the tenderers present at
that time. In case the tender is not materialized on 15-2-
2012 due to unexpected reasons, it will be conducted on
21-2-2012 at the same time and place. If it does not
happen on 21-2-2012 also, the same will be conducted on
27-2-2012 at the same time and place.
Name of work with Approximate Estimate Amount—
Construction of boundary wall at Kolappa area of
Kannavam Range—` 65,70,000.
EMD—` 1,64,300.
Tender form value— ` 9,900+VAT.
Period of completion of the work—6 months from the
date of executing agreement.
The cost of tender forms will not be refunded at any
cost. EMD will be accepted through DD taken from any
of the Nationalized Bank in favour of Divisional Forest
Officer, Kannur. The name of work should be superscribed
on the sealed cover. All the conditions prevailing in Kerala
Public Works Department and Kerala Forest Department
will be applicable to these works. Guarantee as prescribed
in G. O. (Ms.) No. 98/92/PWD dated 1-11-1992 will also
applicable to this tender. Tender forms are not transferable.
Tender should be submitted along with a preliminary
agreement signed and executed in a Stamp Paper worth
` 100. Incomplete tenders and tenders without EMD or
tender received after the stipulated time are liable to be
rejected. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
tender without assigning any reason thereof.
