Certificate issued by competent authority can only

participate in the tender. The instructions contained in

subsection B, C and D of Section I of the Bid document

regarding bidding documents, preparation of bids and

submission of bids stands modified in lines with the online

bidding procedure indicated in Section I of the bidding

documents. Bids must be accompanied with scanned copy

of two separate Demand Drafts towards total cost of

tender document of 26,010 (One draft of 24,010 on any

Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Superintending

Engineer, NH Central Circle, Vyttila payable at Kochi and

the other draft of 2,000 in favour of “The Secretary

General, Indian Roads Congress, Jamnagar House,

Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110 011 payable at

New Delhi”). Scanned copy of the demand drafts shall be

submitted in Cover 1 of the online bidding.

Bids must be accompanied with scanned copy of

financial instruments towards bid security specified for the

work shown above. Bid security will have to be in any one

of the forms as specified in clause 16 of the Standard

Bidding Document payable at Kochi in favour of the

Superintending Engineer, National Highway Central Circle,

Kochi-19 and shall be valid for 45 days beyond the

validity of the bid. Scanned copy of the bid security/EMD

Exemption Certificate (if any) shall be submitted in Cover I

of the online bid.

Price bid shall be submitted in Cover II of online

bidding.

Bids must be submitted online on or before 4 p.m. on

20-3-2012. Bids received on “online” shall be opened on

27-3-2012 by an Evaluation Committee headed by Chief

Engineer (NH) in the Office of the Chief Engineer, National

Highway, Thiruvananthapuram, (time will be intimated later)

in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend. If the

Office happens to be closed for any reason, the bids will

be opened on the next working day at the same time and

venue. Bids shall be accepted only through online mode

and no manual submission of the same shall be

entertained. Late online bids will not be accepted.

Bidder shall produce the original financial instruments

such as cost of bidding documents and bid security before

Superintending Engineer, NH (Central) Circle, Vyttila,

Kochi-19 on any working days after last date of

submission and before opening of bids on 27-3-2012 (time

will be intimated later) (ie. from 20-3-2012 to 27-3-2012)

failing which the bid shall be summarily rejected and liable

for other penal action as per rule prevailed in the State.

A pre bid meeting will be held on 15-3-2012 at

11.30 a.m. in the Office of the Superintending Engineer,

N. H. (Central) Circle, Vyttila, Kochi-19 to clarify the

issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be

raised at that stage as stated in Clause 9.2 of

“Instructions to Bidders” of the bidding document.

The tender for pre-qualification and execution of the

following work is invited by the undersigned from

financially sound and well experienced Registered “A”

class Contractors/Firms of State Public Works Department/

CPWD/Railways who have sucessfully completed at least

one similar work costing more than 50% (Fifty Percentage)

of the estimate P.A. C. of work during the last five

years.

All bid/tender documents are to be submitted

online only and no manual submission of the same shall

be entertained.

Technical bid and Financial bid shall be

submitted in their seperately designated online covers.

A bid submission fee of 26,010 shall be remitted in the

form of D.D. in favour of Superintending Engineer, NH

Central Circle, Vyttila, Kochi payable at Kochi.

The

scanned copies of EMD, cost of tender documents/bid

submission fee, Registration Certificate duly attested by a

Gazetted Officer, Preliminary Agreement, Bid Capacity

Certificate and EMD Exemption Certificate (if any) shall be

submitted online and subsequently in a separate cover

manually on or before the prescribed date and time of

opening, otherwise such tenders will be rejected. Late

tenders will not be accepted.

The Superintending Engineer, Public Works

Department (P. W. D.) R & B North Circle, Kozhikode for

and on behalf of the Governor of Kerala invites online

bids from the Registered Bidders of PWD who have

successfully completed at least one similar work costing

more than 40% (Forty percentage) of the estimate Probable

Amount of Contract (PAC) of the work during the last five

years.

downloaded free of cost from the departmental Website

www.etenders.kerala.gov.in. A bid submission fee of

26,010 shall be in the form of D.D in favour of

Superintending Engineer, R & B North Circle, Kozhikode

payable at Kozhikode and the scanned copy of this D. D.

All bid/tender documents are to be submitted online

only and in the designated cover (s)/envelope (s) on the

e-GP website. Technical bid and financial bid shall be

submitted in their respective designated online covers.

Tenders/bids shall be accepted only through online mode

on the e-GP website and no manual submission of the

same shall be entertained. Late tenders will not be

accepted.

The scanned copies of EMD, cost of Tender

documents/bid submission fee, Registration Certificate duly

attested by the Superintending Engineer/Executive

Engineer), PWD, Kerala, Preliminary Agreement, Bid

Capacity Certificate and EMD exemption certificate (if any)

shall be submitted online and subsequently in a separate

cover physically. More details on EMD & Cost of Tender

documents/bid submission fee are mentioned in the Form

83 document.

The technical bids shall be opened online at the

office of the Superintending Engineer, R&B North Circle,

Kozhikode on 16-3-2012 at 4 p.m. by the Superintending

Engineer-Competent Tender Opening Authority-in the

presence of the Bidders/their representatives who wish to

attend at the above address. If the tender opening date

happens to be on a holiday or non-working day due to

any other valid reason, the tender opening process will be

done on the next working day at same time and place.

Online tenders/bids are to be accompanied with a

preliminary agreement executed in kerala stamp paper worth

100. Tenders/bids received online without the scanned

copy of EMD. Cost of tender documents/bid submission

fee and preliminary agreement will not be considered and

shall be summarily rejected. Further details can be had

from the NIT or Office of the Superintending Engineer

Public Works Department (PWD), R&B North Circle,

Kozhikode during working hours.

All other existing conditions related to PQ tender of

Kerala PWD will be applicable in this tenders also. The

Public Works Department will not be responsible for any

error like missing of schedule data while downloading

by the Bidder.
