Notification

Consequent upon the decision of the Union Public Service Commission to

declare the inclusion of the name of Shri Shaikh Anvaruddin Sahib (Date of Birth

27-11-1955) as unconditional in the Select List of 2009 prepared for appointment

to Kerala Cadre of Indian Police Service by promotion by the Selection Committee

in its meeting held on 3-10-2011 and approved by the Commission on 22-12-2011

as intimated vide their letter No. 7/9/2009-AIS dated 10-1-2012 and in exercise

of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 9 of the Indian Police Service

(Recruitment) Rules, 1954, read with 2nd proviso to sub-regulation (1) of regulation

9 of the Indian Police Service (Appointment by Promotion) Regulations, 1955,

the President is pleased to appoint Shri Shaikh Anvarudin Sahib (Date of Birth

27-11-1955), a member of Kerala Police Service to the Indian Police Service on

probation and to allocate him to the Kerala Cadre under sub-rule (1) of the rule

5 of the Indian Police Service (Cadre) Rules, 1954. The appointment will take

effect from the date of issue of this notification.
