Statutory notice inviting claims against the society
was published and a claim for office rent for as ` 30,000
(Rupees Thirty Thousand only) was received. This
claim settled by paying ` 5,300 (Rupees Five Thousand
three Hundred only). No other claim was received to the
liquidator.
The Liquidator has collected all the realizable as-
sets and made payments of dischargeable liabilities. The
receipts and payments pertaining to the liquidator are as

The Final General Body meeting of the members of
the society was convened on 25-1-2012 at 2 p.m. at the
conference hall of the Taliparamba Circle Co-operative
Union. But nobody was present for the general body
meeting. As per the records available in the society
share capital amounting ` 44,200 has to be refunded
to the members. But the address and whereabouts of the
members are unknown and on claim received so far from
anybody and no fund is available for discharging the above
liabilities.
In the above circumstances the liquidator requested
the Joint Registrar of Co-operative Societies (General),
Kannur for permission to write off the unrealizable as-
sets and forfeit the undischargeable liabilities. As per the
proceedings No. 1020/09/AEL dated 16-2-2011 permission
was obtained to forfeit the following liabilities and write
off the assets.
