It is hereby notified for the information of the public that the jungle wood firewood collected from 1969 MW
Plantation, Aruvikkara, Achenkovil Range of this division shall be sold in the public Tender/Auction on the date, time and
place as detailed in the schedule appended below by the Divisional Forest Office, Achencovil or any other officer
authorized by him.
The Tender/Auction will be conducted subject to terms and conditions of the auction sale of timber in Government
Depots and as published by Addl. Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide
Pro. (5)-4668/11, dated 7-12-2011 in Kerala Gazette No. 50 dated 20-12-2011 Page No. 600 to 606 of Forest sheet and also as
per the existing conditions regarding Tender/Auction in the Forest Department. Any conditions regarding the Tender/
Auction published by the Department after the publication of this notification will also be applicable to this Tender/
Auction. In case the notified date happens to be a public holiday the Tender/Auction will be conducted on the next
working day at the notified place and time.
But if the produce could not be sold in full or the Tender/Auction could not be conducted on that date the produce
will be sold on the date specified in the remarks column of the schedule appended.
Intending Tenderers/Bidders are bound to remit KVAT, KFD Tax, Income tax and other taxes in force from time to
time. The Government orders if any regarding the Tender/Auction sale issued after the date of this notification will be
applicable for this Tender/Auction also.
For further details please contact the Divisional Forest Office, Achencovil or the Range Forest Office, Achencovil
during working hours on all working days.

The tender forms will be issued from this office on
4-10-2012 upto 1 p.m. and will be received upto 2.30 p.m.
on 4-10-2012. The received tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m.
on 4-10-2012 by the Divisional Forest Officer, South
Wayanad Division, Kalpetta or by any other officer duly
authorized by him in the presence of the tenderers or their
authorized representatives who are present at the time of
opening tenders.
If the tender could not be conducted due to any
technical or unexpected reasons or persons not
purchased tender forms also, on the above date, tenders
for the above works will be conducted on 5-10-2012 at the
same time.
If the tender could not be conducted due to any
technical or unexpected reasons or persons not
purchased tender forms also, on the above date, tenders
for the above works will be conducted on 9-10-2012 at the
same time.
The tnder forms can be had from the office of the
undersigned on direct remittance of cost of tender form
or in through money order along with the registration
cards. Value of the forms once realized will not be
refunded at any cost. EMD for the work should be made
through Demand Draft drawn from any Nationalized Bank
in favour of the Divisional Forest Officer, South Wayanad
Division, Kalpetta and payable at Kalpetta. Tenders without
adequate EMD, incomplete, defective or belated tenders
will be summarily rejected. The undersigned reserves the
right to reject any tender without assigning any reason
thereof. The Co-operative Societies, rendering the tenders
should produce true copies of relevant orders exempting
them from remittance of EMD/Security along with
the tenders if any. Otherwise they will have to remit
EMD/Security applicable.

Each and every tender should accompany preliminary
agreement in Stamp Paper worth 100 duly signed by the
tenderer. Tenders without this preliminary agreement in
stamp paper will also be rejected even at the time of
opening the tenders. All the relevant rules, regulations,
conditions etc. prevailing in PWD and Forest Department
in respect of tenders will be applicable to this tender
notification also.
