Tender forms and other connected conditions can be
obtained from the office of the undersigned on application
in writing and on payment of the cost of the tender form
either in cash or in Money Order (not refundable) upto
1 p. m. on 27-9-2012 and will be received on the same day
upto 3 p. m. The tenders will be opened by the
undersigned or his deputy on the same day at 3.30 p. m.
in the presence of the tenderers present at that time. In
case due to some other reasons the proposed tenders of
any work is not materialised on the scheduled date on
27-9-2012, such tender will be accepted at the same time
on 4-10-2012, such tender will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on
the same day. If the due date happens to be a holiday or
other reasons the tender form will be received on
11-10-2012 at the same time.
Tender forms are not transferable. The EMD noted
against each works should be paid along with the tender
form by Demand Draft (cheque will not be acceptable)
drawn in favour of the undersigned payable at any
Nationalised Bank at Nilambur. Incomplete tender or tender
without EMD and preliminary agreement are liable to be
rejected. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
tender without arraying any reasons and changes the
estimate amount marginally thereof. All the conditions
prevailing in the Kerala PWD tenders are applicable to
this tender also.

Note:—The contractors who have registered under “A” Category should produce Solvency Certificate issued by the
Revenue Department or a Bank Guarantee by a Bank approved by Government (Nationalised or Scheduled
Bank) under the Bank Guarantee Scheme as follows:—

“A” Category 75,000 (Rupees Seventy five thousand only) + 10% of the amount by which the contract
value exceed 3 lakh the Solvency Certificate or Bank Guarantee already produced by the tenderer at the time
of registration of his name in “A” Class Contractor will be taken into account.

Tender forms can be had from the Divisional Forest Officer, Kannur on payment of the cost and VAT shown
in the schedule hereto on any working day during office hours upto 1 p.m. on 27-9-2012. The tender forms
shall be used only by the person in whose name it is issued and for the works specified in the schedule
given below. Value of tender form will not be refunded. Tender form sold to any persons does not be changed
or transferred to other Ranges.

The tenderers shall fill the tender forms purchased from this Office and submit the same together with all the
papers intact. Tender should be addressed in a sealed cover with name of work clearly written thereon, to the
Divisional Forest Officer, Kannur so as to reach him in his Office at Kannur before 3 p.m. on 27-9-2012
Tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on 27-9-2012.

Tenderers should quote uniform percentage of the scantioned estimate rate at which they can take up the
work specified in the schedule both in figures and words. (Fraction of one percent should not be quoted).
5.
PAC amount may be change subject to the approval of the estimate.
6.
All the correction in the tender form should be initialed by the tenderer himself.
7.
The EMD of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded to them soon after opening of tender.
8.
Sealed tenders will be opened by the Divisional Forest Officer at 3.30 p. m. on the same day in the presence
of such tenderers who elect to be present on the occasion.
9.
If the last date fixed for the receipt of tenders happens to be a holiday, the tenders will be received and
opened on the next working day at the same time and place on the conditions specified above.
10.
Tenders received after the specified date and time, without the requisite enclosures or tender not written up in
proper order in form, will be rejected.
11.
Each tender should be accompanied by a deposit receipt obtained from an approved Bank in favour of the
Divisional Forest Officer, Kannur as Earnest Money Deposit for the work.
12.

Note:—The contractors who have registered under “A”
Category should Solvency Certificate issued by the
Revenue Department or a Bank Guarantee by a Bank
approved by Government (Nationalised or Scheduled
Bank) under the Bank Guarantee Scheme as follows:
1.
“A” Category 75,000 ( Seventy five
thousand only) + 10% of the amount by which the
contract value exceed 3 lakh the Solvency Certificate or
Bank Guarantee already produced by the tenderer at the
time of registration of his name in “A” Class Contractor
will be taken in to account.
2.
Tender forms can be had from the Divisional
Forest Officer, Kasaragod on payment of the cost and
VAT shown
in the schedule hereto on any working day
during office hours up to 1 p.m. on 28-9-2012. The tender
forms shall be used only by the person in whose name it
is issued and for the works specified in the schedule
given below. Value of tender form will not be refunded.
Tender form sold to any persons does not be changed or
transferred to other Ranges.
3.
The tenderers shall fill the tender forms
purchased from this Office and submit the same together
with all the papers intact. Tender should be addressed in
a sealed cover with name of work clearly written thereon,
to the Divisional Forest Officer, Kasaragod so as to reach
him in his office at Kasaragod before 3 p.m. on
28-9-2012. Tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on
28-9-2012.

4.
Tenderers should quote uniform percentage of
the sanctioned estimate rate at which they can take up the
work specified in the schedule both in figures and words.
(Fraction of one percent should not be Quoted.)
5.
PAC amount may be changed subject to the
approval of the estimate.
6.
All the correction in the tender form should be
initiated by the tenderer himself.
7.
The EMD of the unsuccessful tenderers will be
refunded to them soon after opening of tender.
8.
Sealed tenders will be opened by the Divisional
Forest Officer at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence
of such tenderers who elect to be present on the occasion.
9.
If the last date fixed for the receipt of tenders
happens to be a holiday, the tenders will be received and
opened on the next working day at the same time and
place on the conditions specified above.
10.
Tenders received after the specified date and
time, without the requisite enclosures or tender not written
up in proper order in form, will be rejected.
11.
Each tender should be accompanied by a
deposit receipt obtained from an approved Bank in favour
of the Divisional Forest Officer, Kasaragod as Earnest
Money Deposit for the work.
12.

notification is approximate and may be changed.
Period of Contract—3 (Three) Months from the date of
agreement.
If there is no sufficient response on tender on
above said date, tender will be held again on 4-10-2012
at the same time and place. Conditions applicable for
tender on 28-9-2012 shall be applicable for tender on
4-10-2012. Detailed tender/Auction sale conditions
published in Kerala Gazette No. 50 dated 20-12-2011 in
Forest sheet page No. 600 to 606 by the Chief Conservator
of Forests (Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide
Notification No. Pro. (5) 4668/11 dated 7-12-2011 and other
rules and conditions in force, will be applicable to this
tender also.
