SHORT TENDER NOTICE

No. S1/5719/12/AVC.

1st September 2012.

Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the

installation of 35 new Fire Extinguishers and refilling of

27 existing Fire Extinguishers in Government Ayurveda

College and Sub-offices for the year 2012-13.

Estimate Cost— ` 2,00,000.

Tenders should be superscribed “installation of new

Fire Extinguishers and refilling of existing Fire

Extinguishers” addressed to the Principal, Govt. Ayurveda

College, Thiruvananthapuram. The last date of the receipt

of tenders will be at 3 p.m. on 5-10-2012. The late tenders

will not be accepted. The tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m.

on 5-10-2012 in the presence of such of the tenderers

or their authorized representatives who may be present

at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the

Principal, Government Ayurveda College,

Thiruvananthapuram to obtain tender forms on which

tenders should be submitted.

Application for the tender

form should be accompanied by cash remittance of ` 416

(cost of tender form ` 400 + VAT ` 16) which is the price

fixed for a form and which is not refundable under any

circumstances. Tender forms are not transferable. Sale of

tender forms will be closed at 1 p.m. on 5-10-2012.

Cheque, Postal Orders etc. will not be accepted towords

the cost of forms. Those who wish to purchase tender

forms by post shall send an additional amount of ` 50

by Money Order to cover postal charges. Duplicate tender

forms, if required will be issued at ` 208 (cost of tender

form ` 200 + VAT ` 8) per copy.

Intending tenderers should deposit an amount of

` 2,000 as Earnest Money Deposit by Demand Draft in

favour of the Principal, Government Ayurveda College,

Thiruvananthapuram together with an agreement in Kerala

Stamp Paper worth ` 100. The rate quoted shall remain

firm for acceptance till one year from the date of

acceptance. The
