14th September 2012.

Separate sealed tenders are invited from eligible 'A/B' Class contractors registered in the Forest Department in

pursuance of G.O. (Ms.) No. 226/81(F) dated 16-12-1981 for working down Timber Billets, Firewood and Teak Poles from

the marked trees standing in the plantations mentioned in the schedule below to the Govt. Timber Depots, Poles & Billets

at dumping site and Firewood at plantation site mentioned in the same schedule. The tenderer is bound to comply with

the terms and conditions in force, besides the conditions that will be framed by the Government in future in connection

with this tender.

The successful contractor should submit a solvency from the Revenue Authorities or a Bank Guarantee issued by a

Nationalized Bank for 10% of the tender amount if the tender amount exceeds  3,00,000. The successful tenderer should

execute an agreement in the prescribed format in Stamp Paper worth  100 within 15 days from the date of intimation of

acceptance of the tender after furnishing a security deposit equal to 10% of the tender amount or  1,00,000 whichever is

more. Post offers as per the existing rules shall also be entertained. The tenders quoting rates separately for timber, poles,

billets and firewood shall not be entertained under any circumstances. If the notified date of tender happens to be a

holiday, the tender will be conducted on the very next working day at the same place, date and time.

Tender forms and other conditions can be obtained

from the office of the undersigned on application in writing

and on payment of the cost of tender form either in cash

or by money order (not refundable) upto 1 p.m. on

10-10-2012 and will be opened by the undersigned or his

deputee on the same day at 3.30 p. m. in the presence of

the applicants attending on that date. If the due date

happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be the

due date. Cost of tender forms will not be refunded at any

instances.

In addition to the above tender forms and Tender

Schedules can be downloaded from the offical website of

the Department www.kerala.gov.in/tender/intex.htm. Filled

up tender forms along with other documents shall be

submitted to the undersigned upto 3 p.m. on 10-10-2012

by post or any approved courier service. In the case of

downloaded tender applications, in addition to the

prescribed EMD, a Demand Draft for the tender form value

from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of Wildlife

Warden, Wildlife Division, Munnar payable at Munnar

shall also be enclosed. Other mode of remittance of tender

form cost is not acceptable.

The Earnest Money Deposit noted against the work

should be paid along with the tenders by DD (cheques or

fixed deposit receipt will not be acceptable) in favour of

the undersigned payable at any Nationalized Bank at

Munnar. Incomplete tender or tenders without EMD are

liable to be rejected. The preliminary agreement in Stamp

Paper worth  100 should be enclosed with tender. The

undersigned reserves the right to reject any tender without

assigning any reason. All other conditions prevailing in

the Kerala Public Works Department and Forest

Department are applicable to this tender notice also.

If the tender is not conducted on the stipulated date

due to administrative reason, that will be conducted on

the next working day.

from the office of the undersigned on application in writing

and on payment of the cost of tender form either in cash

or by money order (not refundable) upto 1 p.m. on

11-10-2012 and will be opened by the undersigned or his

deputee on the same day at 3.30 p. m. in the presence of

the applicants attending on that date. If the due date

happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be the

due date. Cost of tender forms will not be refunded at any

instances.

In addition to the above tender forms and Tender

Schedules can be downloaded from the offical website of

the Department www.kerala.gov.in/tender/intex.htm. Filled up

tender forms along with other documents shall be

submitted to the undersigned upto 3 p. m. on 11-10-2012

by post or any approved courier service. In the case of

downloaded tender applications, in addition to the

prescribed EMD, a demand draft for the tender form value

from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of Wildlife

Warden, Wildlife Division, Munnar payable at Munnar

shall also be enclosed. Other mode of remittance of tender

form cost is not acceptable.

The Earnest Money Deposit noted against the work

should be paid along with the tenders by DD (cheques or

fixed deposit receipts will not be acceptable) in favour of

the undersigned payable at any nationalized bank at

Munnar. Incomplete tender or tenders without EMD are

liable to be rejected. The preliminary agreement in stamp

paper worth  100 should be enclosed with tender. The

undersigned reserves the right to reject any tender without

assigning any reason. All other conditions prevailing in

the Kerala Public Works Department and Forest

Department are applicable to this tender notice also.

If the tender is not conducted on the stipulated date

due to administrative reason, that will be conducted on

the next working day.

Separate competitive sealed tenders are invited by the

undersigned on behalf of Governor of Kerala in the

prescribed form from eligible contractors registered with

Kerala PWD for the following civil works in Alathur Forest

Range Office of Nemmara Forest Division during 2012-13.

Name of work with Estimate Amount—Construction of

45 houses for ST families in Allimooppan colony at

Thekkady— 2.50 Lakh/house

EMD— 3,00,000

Cost of tender form—25,000 + 5% VAT

Period of completion—6 months

Eligibility of the contractor—‘A’ class.

The tender is fixed to be conducted on 10-10-2012 at

the office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Nemmara. The

tender forms can be purchased from this office of the

undersigned during office hours upto 1 p. m. on all

working days till the tender date. Cost of tender form is

non refundable. The intending tenderer should apply with

proof of identity such as Electoral Identity Card, Driving

Licence, Indian Passport etc. along with the Registration

Certificate in original to get the tender form. The tender

form should be properly filled up and should be submitted

on or before 3 p. m. on 10-10-2012. It should accompanied

by all necessary documents along with the Earnest Money

Deposit by way of Bankers DD at fixed Deposit or

National Savings Certificate pledged in favour of the

Divisional Forest Officer, Nemmara payable at Sub

Treasury, Kollengode. The intending tenderers should also

furnish a preliminary agreement in Stamp Paper worth

 100 along with tender of each work. Incomplete tender or

tenders without necessary documents or tenders not be

accordance with tender condition will not be accepted.

Tenders will be opened by the Divisional Forest Officer or

an officer authorized by him at 3.30 p. m. on 10-10-2012.

In the presence of those tenderers who are present at that

time. The Divisional Forest Officer reserves the right to

reject any tender, either partly or wholly without assigning

any reason thereof. If the tender could not be conducted

on the notified date due to any reason, it will be

conducted at the same place and time on the next

working day as per the same conditions.

If the tender for all works or any of the work could

not be conducted on the said date/dates, the tender for

such work/works will be conducted at the above place

and time with same conditions on 10-10-2012. If the tender

could not be conducted on that day, it will be conducted

on 12-10-2012, 15-10-2012. All existing rules, regulations,

directions, conditions etc. prevailing in Kerala PWD and

Kerala Forest Department in respect of civil works shall be

applicable to these works and tender also.

Note:—The contractors who have registered under “A” Category should produce Solvency Certificate issued by the

Revenue Department or a Bank Guarantee by a Bank approved by Government (Nationalised or Scheduled

Bank) under the Bank Guarantee Scheme as follows:—

“A” Category  75,000 (Rupees Seventy five thousand only) + 10% of the amount by which the contract

value exceed  3 lakh the Solvency Certificate or Bank Guarantee already produced by the tenderer at the time

of registration of his name in “A” Class Contractor will be taken into account.

Tender forms can be had from the Divisional Forest Officer, Kannur on payment of the cost and VAT shown

in the schedule hereto on any working day during office hours upto 1 p.m. on 19-10-2012. The tender forms

shall be used only by the person in whose name it is issued and for the works specified in the schedule

given below. Value of tender form will not be refunded. Tender form sold to any persons does not be changed

or transferred to other Ranges.

The tenderers shall fill the tender forms purchased from this Office and submit the same together with all the

papers intact. Tender should be addressed in a sealed cover with name of work clearly written thereon, to the

Divisional Forest Officer, Kannur so as to reach him in his Office at Kannur before 3 p.m. on 19-10-2012.

Tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on 19-10-2012.

Tenderers should quote uniform percentage of the sanctioned estimate rate at which they can take up the

work specified in the schedule both in figures and words. (Fraction of one percent should not be quoted).

PAC amount may be change subject to the approval of the estimate.

6.

All the correction in the tender form should be initialed by the tenderer himself.

7.

The EMD of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded to them soon after opening of tender.

8.

Sealed tenders will be opened by the Divisional Forest Officer at 3.30 p. m. on the same day in the presence

of such tenderers who elect to be present on the occasion.

9.

If the last date fixed for the receipt of tenders happens to be a holiday, the tenders will be received and

opened on the next working day at the same time and place on the conditions specified above.

10.

Tenders received after the specified date and time, without the requisite enclosures or tender not written up in

only) + 10% of the amount by which the contract value

exceed rupees 3 lakh the Solvency Certificate or Bank

Guarantee already produced by the tenderer at the time

of registration of his name in “A” Class Contractor will be

taken in to account.

Tender forms can be had from the Divisional

Forest Officer, Kasaragod on payment of the cost and

VAT shown

in the schedule hereto on any working day

during office hours up to 1 p. m. on 18-10-2012. The

tender forms shall be used only by the person in whose

name it is issued and for the works specified in the

schedule given below. Value of tender form will not be

refunded. Tender form sold to any persons does not be

changed or transferred to other Ranges.

The tenderers shall fill the tender forms

purchased from this Office and submit the same together

with all the papers intact. Tender should be addressed in

a sealed cover with name of work clearly written thereon,

to the Divisional Forest Officer, Kasaragod so as to reach

him in his office at Kasaragod before 3 p. m. on

18-10-2012. Tenders will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on

18-10-2012.

4.

Tenderers should quote uniform percentage of the

sanctioned estimate rate at which they can take up the

work specified in the schedule both in figures and words.

(Fraction of one percent should not be quoted.)

5.

PAC amount may be changed subject to the

approval of the estimate.

6.

All the correction in the tender form should be

initiated by the tenderer himself.

7.

The EMD of the unsuccessful tenderers will be

refunded to them soon after opening of tender.

8.

Sealed tenders will be opened by the Divisional

Forest Officer at 3.30 p. m. on the same day in the

presence of such tenderers who elect to be present on the

occasion.

happens to be a holiday, the tenders will be received and
