Dated, Thiruvananthapuram, 9th October 2012.

S. R. O. No.767/2012.— In exercise of the powers conferred by

sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 5 of the Charitable Endowments Act, 1890

(Central Act 6 of 1890), the Government of Kerala hereby make the following

amendments to the notification issued as G. O.(Ms) No. 39/80/H.Edn. dated

12th March, 1980 and published as S.R.O. No. 394/80 in Section iv Part I of the

Kerala Gazette No.17 dated 22nd April, 1980, namely:—

AMENDMENT

In the said notification:—

(i)

under the heading “SCHEME”, in paragraph 2, for the words, letters,

figures and bracket “Rs. 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only)” the words, letters,

figures and bracket “Rs. 30,000 (Rupees thirty thousand only)” shall be

substituted;

(ii)

in the SCHEDULE, for the entries under column (2), the following

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

“Rs. 30,000 (Rupees thirty thousand only)”.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its

general purport.)

The donor of the “Maliakal M. T. Kurian Memorial Endowment Fund”

wishes to amend the scheme of the said endowment for enhancing the Corpus

of the fund to Rs. 30,000 (Rupees Thirty thousand only). The preliminary

notification No. 27021/F1/79/H.Edn. dated 21-11-1979 has been published in

Kerala Gazette Part I, No. 2 dated 18th December 1979. Now Government have

decided to accept the amendments.

This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
