Note:—(1) Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their OMR answer sheet (Part A & Part B) relating to this
selection shall remit the fee of 200 in any of the Treasuries in the State (Head of Account 0051 PSC-800
other receipts-99-other receipts). The duly filled in application in the prescribed form (available from the
Commission’s Website: www.keralapsc.org) along with the original chalan should be submitted to The Deputy
Secretary (Examinations), Kerala Public Service Commission, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram-4. A copy of an
answer sheet will be issued only once to a candidate. Copies of OMR answer sheets invalidated due to any
defect will not be issued. Candidates are prohibited from applying for a copy of an answer sheet which is not
their own and legal proceedings will be initiated against those who do so.

A period of forty five days time for rechecking of Answer Scripts will be allowed to candidates with effect
from the date of approval of the Ranked List. The candidates can avail only one chance after the approval of
Ranked List.
Candidates desiring to recheck the answer script relating to the Written Test held for selection to the post may apply
for rechecking within 45 days from the date of approval of the Ranked List.
“Applications for rechecking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from
the Enquiry Sections of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4 size
paper from the Commission’s Website: www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from. Applications submitted in any other
manner will not be considered.”
The application for rechecking, along with original chalan receipt for the prescribed fee for 50 under the Head of
Account “0051-PSC 105 State PSC 99-Examination Fee”, addressed to The Deputy Secretary (Examinations), Kerala
Public Service Commission, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram-4. Application for rechecking received after the stipulated time
limit and not in the prescribed form will not be entertained and fee once remitted will not be refunded.

from the date of approval of the Ranked List. The candidates can avail only one chance after the approval of
Ranked List.
Candidates desiring to recheck the answer script relating to the written test held for selection to the post may apply
for rechecking within 45 days from the date of approval of the Ranked List.
“Applications for rechecking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from
the Enquiry Sections of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4 size
paper from the Commission’s Website: www.keralapsc.org or photocopied there from. Applications submitted in any other

The following list contains the names of candidates found suitable on the basis of the result of the Objective Type
(OMR Valuation) Test held on 1-10-2009 and the verification of original documents of the candidates included in the
Probability List published on 4-10-2011 for selection to the post of Binder Gr. II in Various Departments in Kollam District
(Category No. 264/2007) notified in the Gazette dated 14-8-2007 on 2750-4625 (PR) arranged in the order of merit.
The Ranked List is brought into force with effect from 26-6-2012. The Ranked List will be in force till the
publication of a new Ranked List after the expiry of a minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years
whichever is earlier. Candidates from the list will be advised for appointment in accordance with the rules and orders
regarding reservation and rotation as amended from time to time, if applicable, against vacancies reported to the
Commission during the pendency of the list. As the advice for appointment depends on the occurrence of vacancies,
there is no guarantee that all candidates included in the list will secure appointment. The candidates remaining in the list
at the time of cancellation will have no claim at all, for appointments on the basis of the inclusion of their names
in the list.
According to the existing procedure, re-valuation of answer scripts is not allowed. But answer scripts will be
rechecked to see that all the answers are valued and that there is no mistake in the totaling of marks for various answers
if the candidates apply for rechecking, remitting the prescribed fee of 50 (Rupees fifty only) in any one of the
Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account “0051 PSC 105 State PSC 99 Examination Fee”.
Applications for rechecking of answer scripts should be submitted in the prescribed form available free of cost from
the enquiry sections of the various offices of the Commission or its photocopy or downloaded and printed in A4 size
paper from the Commission’s website www.keralapsc.org or photocopied therefrom. Applications submitted in any other
manner will not be considered. The application for rechecking along with the original chalan receipt should reach the
District Officer, Kerala Public Service Commission District Office, Kollam within 45 days from the date of publication of
the Ranked List has come into force (i.e. the date on which the Ranked List has been approved by the Commission).
Application for rechecking received after the prescribed time limit or not in the prescribed form will not be entertained.
The fee once remitted will not be refunded on any account. In the case of candidates who sent applications for
rechecking in the prescribed form within the prescribed time limit enclosing original chalan receipt as stated above, the
marks awarded will be rechecked and the result of the rechecking will be intimated to the candidates from this office.
Applications for rechecking received from candidates whose answer scripts have been invalidated will not be considered.
Candidates who wish to obtain a photocopy of their OMR answer sheet (Part A & B) relating to this selection shall
remit a fee of 200 by way of chalan in any of the Treasuries in the State under the Head of Account 0051-PSC-800-
Other receipts-99 Other receipts. The duly filled up application in the prescribed form (available on the Commission’s
Website www.keralapsc.org) along with the original chalan should be submitted to the District Officer, KPSC District Office,
Kollam within 45 days from the date of on which of the Ranked List has come into force. A copy of the answer sheet will
be issued only once to a candidate. Copies of OMR sheet invalidated due to any defect will not be issued. Candidates
are prohibited from applying for a copy of answer sheet which is not their own and legal proceedings will be initiated
against those who do so.
The last date for the receipt of applications for rechecking/obtaining Photocopy of the answer scripts is 10-8-2012.
Application for rechecking/obtaining Photocopy, received after the prescribed time limit and not in the prescribed form
will not be entertained.
Entries put in column 4 (community) are based on the communities specified by the candidates in their application
forms and proved by them with necessary documents. The candidates whose communities have not been correctly noted
in the list as proved by them in their application should intimate the fact to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service
Commission District Office, Kollam within 1 (one) month from the date of publication of the Ranked List to get the
benefit of reservation to which they are entitled to. In the absence of timely information regarding discrepancies, if any,
the candidates will be advised as incorporated in this list.

The following is the Short List containing the
Register Numbers of candidates who are found
provisionally eligible to be called for interview for
selection to the post of Sewing Teacher (High School)
(Category No. 179/2008) in Education Department
on 6680-10790 (PR) in Palakkad District (Gazette date
30-4-2008) on the basis of the OMR test held on
10-12-2010.
The Register Numbers are arranged in their
numerical sequence and the arrangement does not in any
way, indicate their respective rank on the basis of the

Note:— (1) Inclusion of Register Numbers in this list is
purely provisional subject to the scrutiny
and admission of applications on absolute
basis. Inclusion of Register Numbers in the
Short List does not confer any right on the
candidate to be called for Interview or for
subsequent inclusion in the Ranked List.
(2) The Short List is prepared based on the
details furnished by the candidate in the
application and subsequent claims made
will not be entertained at any stage.
(3) The candidates whose Register Numbers are
included in the Short List are directed to send
self attested copies of documets to prove
their claims made in the applications, i.e.,
Qualification, Date of Birth, Community and
other benefits if any to which they are entitled
to the District Officer, Kerala Public Service
Commission District Office, Palakkad within 15
days from the date of publication of this
notification. The Register Numbers of those
candidates who do not produce the required
documents within the prescribed time limit
and whose applications are found otherwise
defective will be deleted from the Short List
without further notice.

(4) The candidates who have secured 55 (fifty
five) marks and above are included in the
Main List of the Short List. The required
marks have been lowered to the extent
necessary in respect of the Supplementary
Lists.
(5) The candidates belonging to Other Backward
Classes included in the Short List who are
required to produce Non Creamy Layer
Certificate as per G. O. (P) No. 117/2008/SC/
STDD dated 19-12-2008 shall produce the
same along with other documents mentioned
above or as and when called for. Such
candidates in the Main List who fail to
produce the required Non-Cremy Layer
Certificate will not be entitled to the benefit of
Community reservation and will be considered
as Open Competition candidates. As regard
to such candidates in the Supplementary Lists
of Other Backward Classes, their Register
Numbers will be deleted from the Short List
without further notice, if they fail to produce
the Non-Creamy Layer Certificate.
(6) The place, date and time of interview will be
intimated in due course.
(7) Register numbers of candidates whose
answer scripts have been invalidated due to
various reasons are provided in the
notification appended.
(8) According to the existing procedure,
revaluation of answer scripts is not allowed.
But candidates can apply for rechecking of
their answer scripts only after publication of
the Ranked List. The details will be published
along with the Ranked List.
