Governor of Kerala by the Superintending Engineer, NH

South Circle, Thiruvananthapuram from Contractors or

firms having ‘A’ class registration in State Public Works

online on or before 20-12-2012, 4 p. m. A bid submission

fee of ` 26,010 shall be remitted in the form of DD in

Thiruvananthapuram payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The

PRE-QUALIFICATION TENDER NOTICE

[e-Government Procurement (e-GP)]

No. DGTN/PQ/2012-13.

26th November 2012.

Tender for pre-qualification and execution of the

following works are invited online from financially sound

and well experienced Registered ‘A’ class Contractors/

Firms of Kerala, PWD, who have successfully completed

atleast one similar work costing more than 40% (Forty

percentage) of estimate PAC of the proposed work during

the last five years. Only those bidders having a valid

and active registration and who possess compatible digital

signature certificate issued by competent authority can

participate in the tender.

Tender documents and tender schedule can be

downloaded free of cost from the e-GP, Website

www.etenders.kerala.gov.in. A bid submission fee of

` 26,250 shall be remitted in the form of DD in favour of

Superintending Engineer payable at Aluva and the

scanned copy of this DD shall be submitted online

during the time of bid submission.

only and in the designated cover(s)/envelope(s) on the

e-GP website. Technical bid and financial bid shall be

submitted in their respective designated online covers.

Tenders/bids shall be accepted only through online mode

on the e-GP website and no manual submission of the

same shall be entertained. Late tenders will not be

accepted.

Tender notice for post-qualification and execution of

the following works are invited from the Contractors/Firms

of Kerala, PWD companies who have successfully

completed at least one similar work costing more than 40%

(forty percentage) of estimate P.A.C. of the proposed work

4. Bids must be submitted online on or before 4 p. m.

on 3-1-2013. Bids received on “online” shall be opened at

11.30 a. m. on 10-1-2013 by an Evaluation Committee

headed by Chief Engineer (NH) in the Office of the Chief

Engineer, National Highway, Thiruvananthapuram in the

presence of the bidders who wish to attend. If the office

happens to be closed for any reason, the bids will be

opened on the next working day at the same time and

venue. Bids shall be accepted only through online mode

and no manual submission of the same shall be

entertained. Late online bids will not be accepted.

5. Bidder shall produce the original financial

instruments such as cost of bidding document and bid

security and copy of technical bid before Superintending

Engineer, National Highway (North) Circle, Kozhikode on

any working days after last date of submission and before

7-1-2013, 4 p.m. (ie. from 3-1-2013 to 7-1-2013) failing

which the bid shall be summarily rejected and liable for

other penal action as per rule prevailed in the State.

A pre bid meeting will be held on 20-12-2012 at

11.30 a. m. in the Office of the Superintending Engineer,

National Highway (North) Circle, Kozhikode to clarify the

issues and to answer questions on any matter that may be

raised at that stage as stated in Clause 9.2 of “instructions

to bidders” of the bidding document.

4. As per MORTH guidelines the bidder should have

adequate experience in similar type works and having

adequate machineries equipments and financial resources

to execute the works. Scanned copy of the details must

be accompanied with the bid.

5. Scanned copies of the bid security/EMD, cost of

tender documents/Bid Submission Fee, Registration

Certificate duly attested by the Superintending Engineer/

Executive Engineer, PWD, Kerala, Preliminary Agreement,

Experience Certificate (Similar type of works), List of

adequate machineries and equipments owned by the

Contractor, Financial resources EMD. Exemption Certificate

(if any) and other relevant details should be submitted in

the online bid and subsequently in a separate cover

physically in original to this office before 4-1-2013, 4 p. m.

failing which the bid shall be summerily rejected and liable

for other penal actions as per rule prevailed in the State.
