Read:—Notification No. B4 - 44225/08 dated 5-1-2013 of

the High Court of Kerala.

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14

(1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (Act 2 of

1974), the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kozhikode, hereby

defines the local area within which the Addl. Honorary

Special Judicial Second Class Magistrate, Kozhikode,

whose name is specified under Column I of the schedule

shown under may exercise all or any of the powers with

which they have been invested under the Code and by

the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala, in the local area

specified under Column III of the schedule for a period of

one year with effect from the date of assumption of

charge.
