Whereas, the New India Assurance Company Ltd.,

Thiruvananthapuram has deposited with this Court an

amount of ` 6,47,533 (Rupees Six lakhs forty seven

thousand five hundred and thirty three only) as

Workmen's Compensation payable to the dependents of

the deceased workman Sri Navas who met with a fatal

accident on 7-6-2003 arising out of and in the course of

his employment as under the above employer.

And whereas, an enquiry conducted through the

Assistant Labour Officer, Thiruvananthapuram 2nd Circle,

Kazhakoottam, it is understood that the following persons

are the dependents of the deceased workman within the

meaning of Section 2(1) (d) of the Workmen's

Compensation Act, 1923.

Whereas, the United India Insurance Company

Limitted has deposited with this Court an amount of

` 4,83,286 (Rupees Four lakhs eighty three thousand two

hundred and eighty six only) as Employees Compensation

payable to the dependents of the deceased workman

Smt. Nabeesa who met with a fatal accident on 19-4-2003

arising out of and in the course of his employment under

the employer viz. Chembra Estate, Meppadi, Wayanad.

And whereas, an enquiry conducted through the

Assistant Labour Officer, Kalpetta Circle, it is understood

that the following persons are the dependents of the

deceased workman within the meaning of Section 2(1) (d)

of the Employees Compensation Act, 1923.

Commissioner for Employees Compensation, Kannur within
