The tender for pre-qualification and execution of the
following work is invited by the undersigned from
financially sound and well experienced Registered "A'
class Contractors/Firms of State Public Works
Department/ CPWD/Railways who have successfully
completed at least one similar work costing more than
40% (Forty percentage) of the estimate P.A.C. of work
during the last five years. All bid/tender documents are to
be submitted online only and no manual submission of
the same shall be entertained. Technical bid and Financial
bid shall be submitted in their separately designated
online covers, two separate D.D.’s. One for ` 2,000 taken
in favour of the Secretary General, IRC, Jamnagar House,
Shajahan Road, New Delhi payable at New Delhi and the
other for ` 24,010 taken in favour of the Superintending
Engineer, NH South Circle, Thiruvananthapuram, payable
at Thiruvananthapuram. The scanned copies of EMD, Cost
of tender documents/bid submission fee, Registration
Certificate duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, Preliminary
agreement, Bid Capacity Certificate/Experience Certificate
shall be submitted on line and subsequently in a separate
cover physically on or before the prescribed date and
time of opening, otherwise such tenders will be rejected.

experienced registered ‘A’ class Contractors/Firms of Kerala
Public Works Department/Irrigation Department who have
successfully completed at least one similar work costing
more than 40% (Forty percentage) of the estimate PAC of
works during the last five years. All bid/tender documents
are to be submitted online only and no mannual
submission of the same shall be entertained. A bid
submission fee of ` 26,000 shall be remitted in the form
of D. D. infavour of Superintending Engineer, Buildings
South Circle, Thiruvananthapuram payable at
Thiruvananthapuram. The scanned copies of EMD , Cost

The instructions
contained in subsection B, C and D of Section I of the
standard bidding document regarding bidding documents,
preparation of bids and submission of bids stands
modified in lines with the online bidding procedure.
Bids must be accompanied with scanned copy of two
separate Demand Drafts towards the cost of bidding
document of ` 26,250 (Rupees twenty six thousand two
hundred and fifty only) one draft of ` 24,250 (Rupees
twenty four thousand two hundred and fifty only) on any
Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Superintending
Engineer, NH Central Circle, Vyttila payable at Kochi and
the other draft of ` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) in
favour of “the Secretary General, Indian Roads Congress,
Jamnagar House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110 011
payable at New Delhi”.
Bids must be accompanied with scanned copy of
financial instruments towards bid security specified for the
work in the above table. Bid security will have to be in any
one of the forms as specified in clause 16 of the Standard
Bidding Document payable at Kochi in favour of the
Superintending Engineer, National Highway Central Circle,
Kochi-19 and shall be valid for 45 days beyond the
validity of the bid. Scanned copy of the demand drafts
and finacial instruments towards bid security/bid security
exemption certificate (if any) shall be submitted in cover I
of the online bidding.
If the day of submission of documents mentioned in
Clause 5 happens to be closed for any reasons, the same
shall be submitted on the next working day at the same
time and venue.
On the opening day of tecnical bids, if the office
happens to be closed for any reason, the bids will be
opended on the next working day at the same time and
venue.
Bids shall be accepted only through online mods
and no manual submission of the same shall be
entertained.
Late online bids will not be accepted.
Bidders are requested to submit the scanned copies
of the following details on “online”

Registration Certificate attested by a
Gazetted Officer.
(ii)
Experience Certificate prescribed in SBD and
subsequent amendments attested by a
Gazetted Officer.
(iii) Demand Draft towards cost of tender
documents/Bid Submission fee (2 Nos. as
insisted).
(iv) Bid Security/Bid Security Exemption
Certificate.
(v)
Preliminary Agreement in stamp paper worth
` 100 signed by the contractor.
And subsequently documents in (iii), (iv), (v) in
original, (i), (ii) attested copies may be submitted “offline”
in a sealed cover superscribing the name of work and
tender number, through speed post/by hand/registered post,
to any of the following offices, at the convenience of the
contractor as prescribed in the Time schedule, physically,
failing which such tenders will be rejected. The originals
of document (i) and (ii) should be produced while
opening the Technical Bid.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS
(a)
The work involves items of specialized nature like
providing Elastomeric coating, guniting concrete
surface and replacing expansion joint, and hence
