(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate the general purpose.)
The land as per the schedule above was originally notified under Section 3 (2) of the Kerala Forest (Vesting and
Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Ordinance 8/ 2000 vide Notification No. C4-21437/2000 dated
4-10-2000 and published in Kerala Gazette No. 43, Volume 45 dated 31-10-2000 as Sl. No. 3. In that notification the
Survey No. with Sub division, Extent and boundaries were shown erroneously whereas as the correct details in respect of
the land notified as ecologically fragile land are shown in the revised schedule as above. Hence this Erratum Notification
is published with the intention to achieve the above objective.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
No. W4-3726/2012.
27th February 2013.
It is hereby notified that a vehicle No. KL 11F 324 Maruthi Omini Van, which was confiscated vide order
No. W.4-3726/12, dated 1-10-2012 of Wildlife Warden, Sulthan Bathery as per Section 61 (A) of the Kerala Forest Act 1961
and kept in the compound of Wayanad Wildlife Division Office will be sold in Tender-cum-auction sale in as and where
condition in the A. N. 9-4-2013 by the Deputy Conservator of Forests and Wildlife Warden, Wayanad, Wildlife Division,
Sulthan Bathery or an officer authorized by him. The tender forms will be issued from the Office of the Deputy
Conservator of Forests and Wildlife Warden Wildlife Division, Sulthan Bathery on all working days from
1-4-2013 to 8-4-2013 and upto 11 a. m. on 9-4-2013. Filled up tenders should be submitted before 1 p. m. on 9-4-2013
Subsequently, auction sale of the vehicle will be conducted at 3 p.m. on the same day at the Office of the Deputy
Conservator of Forests and Wildlife Warden, Wayanad, Wildlife Division, Sulthan Bathery in the presence of those who
have submitted tenders. The tenders will be opened soon after completion of the auction sale.The sale of vehicle will be
knocked down in the name of the person offers highest amount, either in the tender or in the auction on the day.
In case, the notified date happens to be a public holiday, the tender cum-auction sale will be conducted on the next
working day at the notified place and time, as per the same conditions. If the sale of the vehicle could not be
conducted on the day, the tender-cum-auction sale of the vehicle will be conducted on 16-4-2013 at the same place and
time, as per the same conditions mentioned above. If the sale could not be conducted on the day also, it will be
conducted on 23-4-2013. If the sale could not be conducted on the days also it will be again conducted on 30-4-2013.
If the sale could not be conducted on this days it will be again conducted on 7-5-2013. The place, time, conditions etc.
shall be remain the same for all the days.

Sulthan Bathery.
CONDITIONS
1. The cost of tender form is ` 400+VAT and EMD is ` 1,750.
2. Intending tenderers/bidders should satisfy themselves the quality of the vehicle after personal inspection with prior
permission of the Deputy Conservator of Forests and Wildlife Warden before participating on the tender-cum-
auction sale regarding the quality of the vehicle will not be entertained.
3. Intending tenderers/bidders should produce either the Electoral Identity Card, Indian Passport, certificate from the
concerned Village Officer showing the permanent address and also signature attested by him or any legally valid
identity card for getting tender forms for remitting EMD.
4. Intending tenderers/bidders should deposit the EMD in the office of the undersigned for participation in tender/
auction.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time will not be entertained.
6. The tender/auction paper of highest bidder/tenderer will be submitted to higher authorities for approval. EMD of the
unsuccessful bidders/tenderers shall be returned after auction sale.
7. Successful tenderers/bidders have to remit 50% of the sale value (including EMD) on the tender/auction date.
8. If the amount offered is less than the EMD, balance EMD will be returned on the day.
9. The successful bidder/tenderers should remit the balance amount and taxes and remove the vehicle within 15 days
from the date of receipt of intimation of the confirmation.
10. If the vehicle is not removed within 15 days after remitting the balance amount, taxes etc., as above, another 15 days
will be allowed for remittance of balance amount and removal of vehicle after realization of 12% of the interest and rent
of ` 20. Further extension of time will not be allowed. If the vehicle is not removed even within this extended
period, the vehicle will be sold in re-auction/re-tender at the risk and loss of the original tenderer/bidder. Loss
including the cost for re-tender-cum re-sale shall be recovered from the defaulter.

11. Only those who have submitted tenders will be eligible for participating in the auction sale.
12. The right for accepting or rejecting any tenders/bid amount shall be vested with concerned officer who is
conducting the sale.
13. If the date of auction/tender happens to be a public holiday it will be conduct on the next working day at the
same place and the same time, as per the same conditions.
14. Post Offer.—Post Offers received within three days of the auction/tender date shall only be accepted, subject to the
following conditions:
(a) Post offer is entertainable, only if the post offer amount is above 10%. In the case of amount of tender/auction
is more than one lakh and only if the post offer amount is more than 20% if the bid/tendered amount is less
than Rupees One lakh.
(b) Post offer with Demand Draft drawn in favour of Deputy Conservator of Forests and Wildlife Warden,
Wayanad, Wildlife Division, Sulthan Bathery for the full amount offered, alone shall be entertained.
(c) Re-auction/re-tender will be conducted after retaining the full amount deposited as per the above condition as
security deposit. The sale shall be confirmed in the name of person who offers highest amount in the post
offer, if the amount fetches in the re-auction/re-tender sale is less than the amount in the post offer. The
amount deposited as per Demand Draft by the post offer shall be adjusted towards the sale value.
(d) If the amount offered in the re-auction/re-tender is more, the re-auction/re-tender shall be confirmed in the
name of such tenderer/bidder and the full amount deposited by the post offerer shall be returned.
(e)` A separate agreement to the above effect should be executed along with the post offer on that day of
submission of the post offer.
