Whereas, the Government of Kerala has published Act No. 21 of 2005, namely, the Kerala Forest (Vesting and

Management Ecologically Fragile Lands) Act, 2003, which came into effect from 2nd day of June 2000.

Now it is hereby notified for the information of the public that the ownership and possession of the land as per the

details shown in the schedule hereto, has been vested with the Government of Kerala free from all encumbrances and the

right, title and interest of the owner or any other person thereon shall stand extinguished from the date of

commencement of the Act, ie., 2nd June 2000. The publication of the notification is made as required under

Section 3(2) of the Kerala Forest (Vesting and Management of Ecologically Fragile Lands) Act, 2003 published in Kerala

Gazette No. 929, 3rd May 2005 as per Government Notification No.15567/Leg.Bl/0l/Law dated 3rd May 2005.

Tender forms and other conditions can be obtained

from the office of the undersigned on application in

writing and on payment of the cost of the tender form

and taxes in cash (not refundable) upto 1 p.m. on

8-7-2013. The filled up tenders will be received in this

office up to 3 p.m on 8-7-2013 and opened by the

undersigned or an officer authorized by him on the same

day at 3.30 p.m. at the Office of Wildlife Warden,

Thiruvananthapuram in the presence of the contractors

attending on the date. If the due date happens to be a

holiday, the next working day will be the due date.

The tender forms are not transferable. The earnest

money deposit noted against the work should be paid

along with the tenders by Demand Draft (cheque will not

be acceptable) pledged in favour of the undersigned

Incomplete tenders and tenders without EMD are liable to

be rejected. The undersigned reserves the right to reject

any tender without assigning any reasons thereof.

All other conditions prevailing in the Kerala PWD

and Forest Department and modifications thereof time to

time are applicable to this tender also. The tenders not

containing the prescribed preliminary agreement in Stamp

Paper worth ` 100 will be summarily rejected.

If there is no response to any of the works included in

this notification, the tender will be again conducted on

10-7-2013 as per the same conditions mentioned above, at

the same time and venue.

It is hereby notified that the Teak poles, Teak billet and jungle wood fire wood collected from final felling of

matchwood plantations in Kallar & Achencovil Range of Achencovil Division will be sold in public Tender cum Auction

at dumping sites shown in the schedule, by the Divisional Forest Officer, Achencovil or any officer authorised by him,

subject to the conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 29 Vol. I dated 25.12.2012 vide Notification

No. Pro. (5) 26274/12 dated 11-12-2012 of the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (P) Thiruvananthapuram

and other conditions prevalent in the Forest Department.

Besides the quantity shown in the schedule, the quantity if any delivered to dumping sites before the date of

Tender cum Auction will also be included in the sale. If the date of Tender cum Auction noted in the schedule is

declared as public holiday, the tender cum auction will be conducted in the next working day at the same time and place

and if the proposed tender cum auction is not held due to other reasons, the same will be conducted on the alternate

dates as shown in the schedule at the same time and place. Tender forms can be had from the respective Range Office

on all working days on payment of ` 400 and VAT.

Last date and time for receipt of tenders—Upto 9 a.m. on 10-7-2013

Those who intend to participate in the Tender cum Auction shall deposit a sum of ` 20,000 as E.M.D. in cash at

the time of submission of tender. Those who intend to participate in the auction alone, shall deposit the EMD at the

above rate before the commencement of auction.

Intending persons may ensure the quantity and quality of materials put up for auction/tender before the

commencement of the same and no complaints will be entertained after the auction/tender. The tenderers/bidders should

produce a Certificate showing the permanent address and signature of the bidders duly attested by the concerned Village

Officer or any other approved identity documents before depositing the EMD. Those who do not produce any approved

Identity Card or certificate will not be allowed to participate in the tender/auction.

In case any Government Department requires any of the materials put up for the auction the quantity remaining after

their selection only will be auctioned. The quantity that may become ready for sale after the publication of this

notification will also be included in the tender cum auction. Any further notification to the sale conditions that may be

issued by Government after the issuance of this notification will also be applicable to this tender cum auction.

Athirappilly Range of Vazhachal Division by thinning will be sold in Tender/Auction sale subject to detailed Tender/

Auction sale conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 49 dated 14-12-2010 in Page No. 589 to 595 of

Chief Conservator of Forests (Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide Notification No. Pro. (5) 5628/10 dated

2-12-2010 and other rules in force, as per schedule furnished below. Tender forms will be available in Divisional Forest

Office, Vazhachal Division, Chalakudy on payment of ` 200 plus VAT. Sealed tenders will be received at Divisional

Forest Office, Vazhachal Division, Chalakudy upto 3 p.m. on the working day prior to the auction date and tenders

received after the stipulated date and time will not be entertained. If the date fixed for Tender/Auction happens to be a

public holiday, harthal or strike, the Auction sale will be held on next working day at the schedule date, time and place.

Tender will be opened immediately after auction sale and further action will be taken as per sale conditions. The

intending bidders should satisfy themselves about the quality and quantity of the thinned materials put up for Tender/

Auction sale and no complaints will be entertained later regarding the same. Further details of Tender/Auction sale will be

available from this office (Phone No. 0480-2701713, e-mail: [email protected]) or Athirappilly Range Office. Quantity

notified is only approximate. Teak poles taken to stock up to a day before the auction will also be included in sale. If

there is no bid or part bid 1st date of auction proposed, undisposed teak poles will be put up for sale on subsequent

completely or partly and postponement of auction without assigning any reason.
