Science Studies.

In exercise of the powers conferred under the

provisions of Sub Section I of Section 12 of the CUSAT

Act 1986 (Act 31 of 1986), The Chancellor, Cochin

University of Science and Technology is pleased to appoint

Dr. K. Poulose Jacob, Professor and Director, School

of Computer Science Studies, Cochin University of

Science

and

Technology,

Kochi

as

the

Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Cochin University of Science

and Technology. The term of appointment will be for

four

years

from

the

date

on

which

Dr. K. Poulose Jacob enters upon the Office.

The

powers

and

the

functions

of

the

Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be determined by the

Vice-Chancellor of the University as provided under

Section 12 (4) of the Act.

Accordingly, Dr. K. Poulose Jacob, Professor and

Director

has

assumed

the

Office

of

the

Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Cochin University of Science and

Technology on 26-6-2013 FN, vide reference (2) above.
