details shown in the schedule hereto, has been vested with the Government of Kerala free from all encumbrances and the
right, title and interest of the owner or any other person thereon shall stand extinguished from the date of commencement
of the Act, i.e. 2nd June 2000.

Period of work—Two Months.
Tender forms and other conditions can be obtained
from the office of the undersigned on application in
writing and on payment of the cost of tender form either
in cash or by money order (not refundable) upto 1 p.m.
on 30-8-2013 and will be opened by the undersigned or
his deputee on the same day at 3.30 p. m. in the presence
of the applicants attending on that date. If the due date
happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be the
due date. Cost of tender forms will not be refunded at
any instances.
In addition to the above tender forms and tender
schedules can be downloaded from the Official website
of the Department www.kerala.gov.in/tender/intex.htm.
Filled up tender forms along with other documents shall
be submitted to the undersigned upto 3 p. m. on
30-8-2013 by post or any approved courier service. In the
case of downloaded tender applications, in addition to the
prescribed EMD, a demand draft for the tender form value
from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of Wildlife
Warden, Wildlife Division, Munnar payable at Munnar
shall also be enclosed. Other mode of remittance of
tender form cost is not acceptable.
The Earnest Money Deposit noted against the work
should be paid along with the tenders by DD (Cheques or
fixed deposit receipts will not be acceptable) in favour of
the undersigned payable at any Nationalized Bank at
Munnar. Incomplete tender or tenders without EMD are
liable to be rejected. The preliminary agreement in stamp
paper worth ` 100 should be enclosed with tender. The
undersigned reserves the right to reject any tender without
assigning any reason. All other conditions prevailing in
the Kerala Public Works Department and Forest
Department are applicable to this tender notification also.
If the tender is not conducted on the stipulated date
due to administrative reason that will be conducted on the
next working day.

The tender is fixed to be conducted on
30-8-2013 at the Office of the Wildlife Warden, Peechi
Wildlife Division, Peechi. The tender forms can be
purchased from the office of the undersigned during
office hours up to 1 p.m. on all working days till the
tender date. Cost of tender form is non refundable. The
intending tenderer should apply with proof of identity
such as Electoral Identity Card, Driving License, Indian
Passport etc., along with Registration Certificate in
original to get the tender form. The tender form should
be properly filled up and should be submitted on or
before 3 p.m. on the date of tender. It should be
accompanied by all necessary documents along with
Earnest Money Deposit by way of Bankers DD or Fixed
Deposit or National Saving Certificates pledged in favour
of the Wildlife Warden, Peechi Wildlife Division,
Peechi P. O., payable at Thrissur. The intending tenderers
should also furnish a Preliminary agreement in Stamp
Paper worth ` 100 along with tender for each work.
Incomplete tender without necessary documents or
tenders not in accordance with tender conditions will not
be accepted. Tenders will be opened by the Wildlife
Warden or an authorised by him at 3.30 p.m. on the same
day, in the presence of those tenderers who are present
at that time. The Wildlife Warden reserves the right to
reject any tender, either partly or wholly without
assigning any reason thereof. If the tender could not be
conducted on the notified date due to any reason, it will
be conducted at the same place and time on the next
working day as per the same conditions.
If the tender for all works or any of the work could
not be conducted on the said date/dates the tender for
such work/works will be conducted at the same place and
time with same conditions on 3-9-2013. If the tender
could not be conducted on that day, also it will be
conducted on 10-9-2013. All existing rules, regulations,
directions, conditions, prevailing in Kerala PWD and
Kerala Forest Department and Store Purchase Department
in respect of civil works shall be applicable to these
works and tender also.

Tender forms and other connected conditions can be
obtained from the office of the undersigned on
application in writing and on payment of the cost of the
tender form either in cash or in Money Order (not
refundable) up to 1 p.m. on 23-8-2013 and will be
received on the same day up to 3 p.m. The tenders will
be opened by the undersigned or his deputy on the same
day at 3.30 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers present
at that time. In case due to some other reasons the
proposed tenders of any work is not materialised on the
scheduled date on 23-8-2013, such tender will be
accepted at the same time on 29-8-2013, such tender will
be opened at 3.30 p.m. on the same day. If the due date
happens to be a holiday or other reasons, the tender form
will be received on 4-9-2013 at the same time.
Tender forms are not transferable. The EMD noted
against each works should be paid along with the tender
form by Demand Draft (cheque will not be acceptable)
drawn in favour of the undersigned payable at any
nationalised bank at Nilambur. Incomplete tender or
tender without EMD and preliminary agreement are liable
to be rejected. The undersigned reserves the right to
reject any tender without arraying any reasons and
changes the estimate amount marginally thereof. All the
conditions prevailing in the Kerala PWD tenders are
applicable to this tender also.

Competitive sealed tenders/re-tenders are invited by
the undersigned on behalf of Governor of Kerala in the
prescribed form from eligible contractors or agencies/
firms registered as ‘C’ Class and above with Kerala
Public Works Department for various 8 civil works as
shown in the table below in Kozhikode District under
Timber Sales Division, Kozhikode during 2013-14. The
tenders/re-tender are fixed to be conducted on
21-8-2013. The tender/re-tender documents can be
purchased from the office of the undersigned during
office hours up to 1 p.m. on the tender/re-tender date, on
producing attested copy of the registration card. Cost of
tender/re-tender form is non refundable and the tender/
re-tender form is not transferable. The filled up tender/
re-tender documents should be submitted on or before
3 p.m. on the date of tender/re-tender. It should be

re-tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in
the presence of those tenderers/re-tenderers or their
authorised representatives who are present at the time by
the Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales, Kozhikode
or an officer authorized by him. The Divisional Forest
Officer, Timber Sales, Kozhikode reserves, the right to
exclude any work/ postponed to another notified date and
also to reject any tender/re-tender without assigning any
reason thereof. If the tender/re-tender date happens to be
a holiday, or the tender/re-tender could not be conducted
on the notified date, due to any reason, the tender/
re-tender will be conducted at the same place and time
on the next working day, as per the same conditions.
If the tender/re-tender could not be conducted on the
said date/dates, tender/re-tender for the works will be
conducted at the above place and time with same
conditions on 27-8-2013. If tender/re-tender could not
be conducted even on this date necessary tender/
re-tender for such works will be conducted with same
condition at same place and time on 3-9-2013.tender/
re-tender for balance works, if any will be conducted on
9-9-2013 and tender/re-tender for remaining works, if
any, will be conducted on 20-9-2013 and tender/
re-tender for remaining works if any will be conducted
on 28-9-2013 at the same place and time as per same
conditions.

Cost of tender/re-tender forms in respect of works
with PAC from ` 5,000 to ` 50,000 shall be ` 300+
VAT and in respect of works with PAC of ` 50,001 to
10 lakhs shall be ` 0.20%+ VAT of the cost of the
work rounded to the nearest multiple of 100 subject to a
minimum of ` 400+ VAT and maximum of ` 2,500+
VAT. All existing rules, regulations, directions etc.
prescribed by Kerala PWD and Kerala Forest Department
in respect of civil works shall be applicable for this
tender/re-tender also.
Before commencing work or within a week after the
date when acceptance of the tender has been intimated to
him, the tenderer shall deposit a sum sufficient to make
up the balance of 5 (five) percent of the probable value
of contract which together with the Earnest Money
Deposited shall be treated as security for the proper
fulfillment of the same and shall execute an agreement
for the work in the PWD schedule form. If he falls to do
this or in the case of PWD contracts not maintain as
specified progress (to be specified in each case in the
tender schedule) the Earnest Money Deposit and security
deposit shall be forfeited to Government and fresh
tenders shall be called for or the matter otherwise
disposed off. If as a result of such measures, due to the
default of the tenderer to pay the requisite deposit, sign
the contracts or take the possession of the work, any loss
to Government due to the same will recovered from him
as arrears of revenue, but should it be saving to
Government, the original contract or shall have no claim
whatever to the difference. Recoveries on this or any
other account will be made from the sum that may be due
to the contract or on this or any other subsisting
Contracts under the Revenue Recovery Act, or otherwise
the Government may decide.
