The materials collected by final thinning from 1965 Urukunnu Teak Plantation, 1967 Chaliyakkara Teak Plantation and

materials collected from sides of Edamon Railway line in Thenmala Range of Thenmala Division will be sold in tender/

auction at the time and place mentioned in the schedule here to attached by Divisional Forest Officer, Thenmala or any

other officer authorized by him for the purpose subject to the conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 50 dated

20-12-2011 vide Notification No. Pro. 5-4668/2011 dated 7-12-2011 of the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (P)

and other sale conditions prevalent in the Forest Department. This Gazette Notification is available in the Forest

Department website www.keralaforest.org. & www.keralaforest.gov.in. Any further amendments if any made to the sale

conditions by the Government after the publication of this sale notification will also be applicable to the sale. If the notified

date of tender/auction declared as a holiday, the same will be conducted on the very next working day at the same time

and place and if the sale is not possible due to other reasons the same will be conducted on the alternate date shown in

the schedule at the same place and time. The materials if any remained unsold/no bid on the original date will be auctioned

on the alternate date. There will have no fresh notification for the sale of such materials so remained unsold. The

intending bidders should satisfy themselves about the quality and quantity of the materials put up for sale before the

commencement of the auction and any complaints raised whatsoever will not be entertained after the sale proceedings are

over. In case, any Government Department requires any of the materials put up for the auction the quantity remaining after

their selection alone will be auctioned. The Tender/Auction will commence at the time noted in the schedule in the

dumping site and will continue till the sale of materials lotted for the day is over.

It is hereby noted for the information of the public

that tender-cum auction sale of Teak Poles and billets

collected from the final Thinning coupe of Ayyappancoil

Range under this Division as mentioned in the schedule

below will be conducted by the Divisional Forest Officer,

Kottayam or any other Officer authorized by him on

4-9-2013 subject to the sale conditions published by the

Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests

(Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide No. Pro. 5- 26274/12

dated 11-12-2012 and other sale conditions prevalent in

the Forest Department are applicable to the tender/auction

sale. If the date of auction happened to be a public

holiday or if the sale is not conducted due to some

unexpected reasons like Bandh, Harthal etc., the sale will

be conducted on the next working day at the same place

and time. If the sale cannot be conducted on the above

two days due to any unexpected reasons the sale will be

conducted on 10-9-2013 at the same place and time. This

Gazette Notification is available in the website of Forest

Department www.forest.kerala.gov.in. Any further

notification on sale conditions that may be ordered by

the Government after the publication of this notification

will also be applicable to this sale. The intending bidders

from the office of the undersigned on application in

Filled up tender forms along with other documents shall

12-9-2013 by post or any approved courier service. In the

case of downloaded tender applications, in addition to the

prescribed EMD, a demand draft for the tender form value

from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of Wildlife

Warden, Wildlife Division, Munnar payable at Munnar

shall also be enclosed. Other mode of remittance of tender

form cost is not acceptable.

The Earnest Money Deposit noted against the work

should be paid along with the tenders by DD (Cheques

or fixed deposit receipts will not be acceptable) in favour

of the undersigned payable at any Nationalized Bank at

Munnar. Incomplete tender or tenders without EMD are

liable to be rejected. The preliminary agreement in stamp

paper worth ` 100 should be enclosed with tender. The

undersigned reserves the right to reject any tender without

It is hereby notified for the general information of the public that Teak Poles collected from Teak Plantation of

Athirappilly Range of Vazhachal Forest Division by thinning will be sold in Tender/Auction sale subject to detailed

Tender/Auction sale conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 49 dated 14-12-2010 in Page No. 589 to 595 of Chief

Conservator of Forests (Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide notification No. Pro (5) 5628/10 dated 2-12-2010 and other

rules in force, as per schedule furnished below. Tender forms will be available in Divisional Forest Office, Vazhachal

Division, Chalakudy on payment of ` 200 plus VAT. Sealed tenders will be received at Divisional Forest Office, Vazhachal

Division, Chalakudy upto 3 p. m. on the working day prior to the auction date and tenders received after the stipulated

date and time will not be entertained. If the date fixed for Tender/Auction happens to be a public holiday, harthal or

strike, the Auction sale will be held on next working day at the scheduled date, time and place. Tender will be opened

immediately after auction sale and further action will be taken as per sale conditions. The intending bidders should satisfy

themselves about the quality and quantity of the thinned materials put up for Tender/Auction sale and no complaints

at the same time and place. The Auctioning Officer is empowered to conduct auction completely or partly and

postponement of auction without assigning any reason.

Post offer will be considered as per the terms and conditions.

Earnest money deposit is ` 20,000 (Rupees Twenty thousand only). The remittance of the value and removal of

timber should be as per prevailing terms and conditions and also as per rule in time.

signed on behalf of Governor of Kerala in the prescribed

form from eligible contractors or agencies/firms registered

as ‘C’ class and above with Kerala Public Works Depart-

in Kozhikode District under Timber Sales Division,

Kozhikode during 2013-14. The tender is fixed to be

conducted on 29-8-2013. The tender documents can be

purchased from the office of the undersigned during

office hours upto 1 p. m. on the tender date,on producing

form is non refundable and the tender form is not

Tender for balance works, if any, will be conducted on

27-9-2013 and tender for remaining works, if any, will be

conducted on 1-10-2013 and tender for remaining works

if any will be conducted on 11-10-2013 and at the same

place and time as per same conditions.

Cost of tender forms in respect of works with

PAC from ` 5,000 to ` 50,000 shall be ` 300+VAT and

in respect of works with PAC of ` 50,001 to 10 lakhs

shall be ` 0.20% + VAT of the cost of the work rounded

to the nearest multiple of 100 subject to a

minimum of ` 400+VAT and maximum of ` 2,500 + VAT.

Cost of tender forms in respect of works with PAC

from ` 10,00,000 to ` 15,00,000 shall be 0.15% + VAT. All

existing rules, regulations, directions etc., prescribed

by Kerala PWD and Kerala Forest Department in respect

of civil works shall be applicable for this tender also.

Before commencing work or within week after the date

when acceptance of the tender has been intimated to him,

the tenderer shall deposit a sum sufficient to make up the

balance of 5 (five) percent of the probable value of

contract which together with the Earnest Money deposit

shall be treated as security for the proper fulfillment of

the same and shall execute an agreement for the work in

the PWD schedule form. If he falls to do this or in the

case of PWD contracts not maintain as specified

progress (to be specified in each case in the tender

schedule) the Earnest Money Deposit and Security

Deposit shall be forfieted to Government and fresh

tenders shall be called for or the matter otherwise

disposed off. If as a result of such measures, due to the

default of the tenderer to pay the requisite deposit, sign

the contracts or take the possession of the work, any loss

to Government due to the same will be recoverd from him

as arrears of revenue, but should it be saving to

Government, the original contractor shall have no claim

whatever to the differance. Recoveries on this or any

other account will be made from the sum that may be due

to the contract or on this or any other subsisting

Contracts under the revenue recovery act, or otherwise the

Government may decide.

The tender is fixed to be conducted on

5-9-2013 at the Office of the Deputy Conservator of

Forests and Wildlife Warden, Wayanad Wildlife Division,

Sulthan Bathery. The tender forms can be purchased from

the office of the undersigned during office hours upto

1 p. m. on all working days till the tender date. Cost of

tender form is non refundable. The intending tenderers

should apply with proof of identity such as Electoral

Identity Card, Driving Licence, Indian Passport etc. along

with the Registration Certificate in original to get the

tender form. The tender form should be properly filled up

and should be submitted on or before 2 p. m. on the

date of tender. It should be accompanied by all necessary

documents along with Earnest Money Deposit by way of

Bankers DD or Fixed Deposit or National Savings

Certificate pledged in favour of Wildlife Warden,

Wayanad Wildlife Division, Sulthan Bathery payable at

Sulthan Bathery. The intending tenderers should also

furnish a preliminary agreement in stamp paper worth

` 100 along with tender of each work. Incomplete tender

or tenders without necessary documents or tenders not in

accordance with tender conditions will not be accepted.

Tenders will be opened by the Deputy Conservator of

Forests and Wildlife Warden or an Officer authorized by

him at 3.30 p. m. on the same day, in the presence of

those tenderers who are present at that time. The

Deputy Conservator of Forests and Wildlife Warden

reserves the right to reject any tender, either partly or

wholly without assigning any reason thereof. If the tender

could not be conducted on the notified date due to any

reason, it will be conducted at the same place and time on

the next working day as per the same conditions.

If the tender for all work or any of the work could

not be conducted on the said date/dates, the tender for

such work/works will be conducted at the same place and

time with same conditions on 12-9-2013. If the tender

could not be conducted on that day also, it will be

conducted on 19-9-2013. If it could not be conducted on

that day also, it will be conducted on 26-9-2013. All

existing rules, regulations, directions, conditions,

prevailing in Kerala PWD and Kerala Forest Department

and Store Purchase Department in respect of civil works

shall be applicable in these works and tender also.
