public that Acacia timber collected from the various Acacia
Plantations in Palode Range of Thiruvananthapuram
Division will be sold in tender/auction sale as per the
schedule furnished below subject to the detailed
Tender/Auction sale conditions published in Kerala
Gazette No. 49 dated 14-12-2010 in Forest Sheet Page
No. 589 to 595 by Chief Conservator of Forests
(Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide Notification
No. Pro. (5) 5628/2010 dated 2-12-2010 and other rules and
conditions in force. Tender forms will be available in
Divisional Forest Office, Thiruvananthapuram and Forest
Range Office, Palode on payment of ` 200 and VAT.
Tenders will be accepted till the date fixed for tender/

Tender forms and other conditions can be obtained
from the office of the undersigned on application in
writing and on payment of the cost of the tender form
and taxes in cash (not refundable) upto 1 p. m. on
11-9-2013. The filled up tenders will be received in this
office upto 3 p. m on 11-9-2013 and opened by the
undersigned or an Officer authorized by him on the same
day at 3.30 p. m. at the Office of Wildlife Warden,
Thiruvananthapuram in the presence of the contractors
attending on the date. If the due date happens to be a
holiday, the next working day will be the due date. The
tender forms are not transferable. The Earnest Money
Deposit noted above the work should be paid along with
the tenders by Demand Draft (cheque will not be
acceptable) pledged in favour of the undersigned payable
at any Nationalized Bank/Scheduled Bank. Incomplete
tenders and tenders without EMD are liable to be
rejected. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
tender without assigning any reasons thereof. All other
conditions prevailing in the Kerala PWD and Forest
Department and modifications there of time to time are
applicable to this tender also. The tenders not containing
the prescribed Preliminary Agreement in Stamp Paper
worth ` 100 will be summarily rejected. If there is no
response to any of the works included in this notification,
the tender will be again be conducted on 13-9-2013 as per
the same conditions mentioned above, at the same time
and venue.

and being proceeded under Section 61 A of Kerala Forest Act, 1961. The Re-tender/tender-cum-auction will be conducted
on 11-9-2013 at 2 p. m. in accordance with the judgement of Honorable High Court of Kerala in MACA 1458/2006 dated

Separate tenders are invited from eligible ‘A’ Class contractors registered in the Forest Department in pursuance
of G. O. (Ms.) No. 226/81 (F) dated 16-12-1981 for working down Timber, Billets and Teak Poles from the marked trees
standing in the plantations mentioned in the schedule below to the Govt. Timber Depots, Poles and Billets at dumping
site mentioned in the same schedule. The tenderer is bound to comply with the terms and conditions in force, besides
the conditions that will be framed by the Government in future in connection with this tender. For submission of tenders
visit the web site www.etenders.kerala.gov.in
The successful contractor should submit a solvency from the revenue authorities or a bank guarantee issued by a
nationalized bank for 10% of the tender amount if the tender amount exceeds ` 3,00,000. The successful tenderer should
execute an agreement in the prescribed format in Stamp Paper worth ` 100 within 15 days from the date of intimation of
acceptance of the tender after furnishing a security deposit equal to 10% of the tender amount or ` 1,00,000 whichever is
more. Post offers as per the existing rules shall also be entertained. The tenders quoting rates separately for timber, poles,
billets and firewood shall not be entertained under any circumstances. If the notified date of tender happens to be a
holiday the tender will be conducted on the very next working day at the same place and time.

Thiruvananthapuram.
Sealed tenders will be accepted till 9 a.m.on
the date of auction at the Depot Office. The tender forms
can be obtained from the concerned Divisional Forest
Office/Depot Office, on payment of ` 200 + ST from
3 days before auction date. No tender received after the
stipulated time will be accepted. The tenderer should
specify clearly the lot numbers intended to be bid and the
rates proposed, in the tender form. The lot numbers
should be inscribed on the cover also.
The sale of timber will take place lot wise, and the
sale of each lot will be knocked down against the rate bid
either in the auction, or in the tender whichever is higher.
If the notified day happens to be a holiday the sale
will be conducted on the next working day at the same
place and time. Further details can be had from the
concerned depot. The quantity shown may vary subject
to the availability of timber.
