NOTIFICATION
No. S.S. 644/2013.

In partial modification of Notification No. H. 4299/11,
dated 23-12-2011 of the Chief Judicial Magistrate,
Alappuzha and as per the direction contained in the
Official Memorandum No. D8-60107/2008, dated 13-8-2013
of the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala, the Chief Judicial
Magistrate, Alappuzha in exercise of the powers conferred
under Section 14 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure
1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974) hereby re-define the
jurisdiction shown in Col. No. 2 of the schedule
hereunder to be the local area/jurisdiction within which
the Magistrates mentioned in Col. No. 1 of the schedule
may exercise all or any of the powers invested with them
under the said Code in respect of the cases filed by the
respective Police Stations, Excise Ranges and other
Prosecuting agencies.
