TRAVANCORE DEVASWOM BOARD

NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 35 of

the Travancore Cochin Hindu Religious Institutions Act,

1950 (XV of 1950) the Travancore Devaswom Board

published a Preliminary Notification in the Kerala Gazette

dated 30-4-2013 with the prior approval of the Government

vide order No. 76716/Dev-2/2012/R.D., dated 1-2-2013 as

required under the Travancore Cochin Hindu Religious

Institutions Amendment Ordinance 2012 inviting

objections from the General Public to the proposed rules

viz. “The Rules and Regulations for providing Residential

Accommodation for the President and Members of

Travancore Devaswom Board during the period they are

holding Office”. Since no objection or suggestion has

been received from anybody, the Travancore Devaswom

Board is hereby publishing the final notification as

follows:

RULES

These rules shall be called “The Rules and

Regulations for providing Residential Accommodation for

the President and Members of the Travancore Devaswom

Board during the period they are holding Office”.

These rules shall come into force with retrospective

effect from 12-11-2012.

1. President and Members of the Board shall be

provided with free residential accommodation.

2. In case the Board is not able to provide free

residential building, rented house can be availed on

a rent at par with the P.W.D. rate and as applicable

to Class-1 Officers having state level jurisdiction.

3. The repairs and maintenance in respect of the

building in possession of the Board, if any, shall be

limited to the minimum necessities only.

4. In case the residential building has to be taken on

rent it shall be within a radius of 15 kilometers of

the Headquarters of the Devaswom Board.

proposed rules viz. “The Rules and Regulations for

providing residential Telephone and Mobile phone to the

President and Members of Travancore Devaswom Board

during the period they are holding office”. Since no

objection or suggestion has been received from anybody

in this behalf, the Travancore Devaswom Board is hereby

publishing the final notification as follows:

RULES

These rules shall be called “The Rules and

Regulations for providing Residential Telephones and

Mobile phones for the President and Members of the

Travancore Devaswom Board during the period they are

holding office”.

These rules shall come into force with retrospective

effect from 12-11-2012.
