under section 14 (1) of the Code of Criminal Procedure

1973, (Central Act 2 of 1974) and order of Hon’ble High

Court of Kerala bearing No. D8-81169/2007 dated 7-6-2013,

the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ernakulam hereby redefine

the areas specified in Column No. 4 of the schedule to

local limits of the area within which the Courts mentioned

in Column No. 2. Thereof may exercise powers vested

on them from the date of this notification.

Sealed tenders are invited for the Installation of

“4 X 2 Hot Plate with stand” in District Jail, Ernakulam.

Last date and time for receipt of tender with 1% EMD

will be at 3 p. m. on 4-11-2013 and will be opened at

4 p.m. on the same day itself, in the presence of such

tenderers/their authorised representatives, who may be

present at that time. Late tenders will not be accepted.

The number of chappathies can be made at the same

time in the hot plate, Warranty/Guarantee, ISI Mark and

other Ratings etc. should be clearly specified while

submitting the tender.

Tender form can be obtained from the office of the

Superintendent, District Jail, Ernakulam on working days

durig office hours . Tender forms are not transferable.

Application for tender form should be accompanied by

cash remittance as detailed below:

Cost of tender form:

Original—` 400 + 12.5% VAT.

Duplicate— ` 200 + 12.5% VAT.

The cost of tender form will not be refunded under

any circumstances. Sale of tender forms will be closed at

2 p.m. on 4-11-2013. Cheques, Postage Stamps etc. will not

be accepted towards the cost of tender forms. The tender

forms will not be sent by V.P.P. The tenders should be

submitted to the Superintendent, District Jail, Ernakulam,

CSEZ P. O., Kakkanad-682 037. The name of the tender

must be written on the cover containing the tender.
