The Superintending Engineer, Irrigation Department,

Irrigation Central Circle, Thrissur for and on behalf of the

Governor of Kerala State invites competitive tenders in

sealed covers superscribing the name of work for the

works listed below from eligible contractors registered in

Kerala PWD/Irrigation Department.

Tenders will be received by post/speed post only.

Tenders submitted directly or by courier service will be

rejected.

Tenders will be opened by the Superintending

Engineer or the Officer authorized by him in the presence

of the tenderers or their authorized agents present at that

time. If the date of tender be declared as holiday, tender

will be received and opened on the next working day.

The firm period of the tenders will be 4 months from the

date of receipt of the tender.

Governor of Kerala in sealed covers superscribing the

name of work and name of contractor from the qualified

registered contractors of Kerala PWD and Irrigation

Department for the work detailed below.

10 a. m. to 1 p. m. from 8-5-2014 and 9-5-2014. Tender will

be received up to 14-5-2014 at 5 p. m. by registered post

only. This department will not be responsible for any

postal delay. The tender submitted through courier service

will not be considered.

The tenders have to execute a preliminary agreement

in specified forms in stamp paper worth ` 100 on behalf

of Governor of Kerala along with the tender. The

tenderers are liable to remit 1% of the total cost of work

to the Kerala Construction Labourers Welfare Fund as per

the act.

All the tenders received within the stipulated time

will be opened on 15-5-2014 at 11 a. m. by the undersigned

or any other authorized Officer in the presence of

tenderers who wish to attend. If the date happend to be

a holiday, the tenders will be received and opened on the

succeeding working day at the time as specified above.

All the conditions prevailing in the Irrigation

Department related to the tenders including performance

guarantee are applicable to this tender also.
