The sale
condition published by the Additional Principal, Chief Conservator of Forests (Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide
Notification No. Pro. (5)-43797/2013 dated 22-11-2013 in the Kerala Govt. Gazette Vol. II (No. 49) dated 10-12-2013 and other
sale conditions prevalent in the Forest Department are applicable to this Tender/Auction sale. This Gazette notification

that may be ordered by the Government after the publication of this sale notification will also be applicable to the
sale.
If the notified date of Tender/Auction is declared as a holiday, the sale will be conducted on the next working day
and if the sale is not conducted fully or partially on the notified date due to other reasons, the same will be conducted
on the alternate date shown in the schedule at the same place and time without further notification.
The intending
bidders should satisfy themselves about the quality and quantity of the materials put up for sale before the
commencement of the auction and any complaints whatsoever, will not be entertained after the sale proceedings are over.
In case, any Government Department requires any of the materials, the quantity remaining after their selection only will be
auctioned. The quantity that may become available for sale after the publication of this notification will also be included
in this sale. The tender/auction will commence at the time noted in the schedule in the dumping site and will continue till
the sale of materials lotted for the day is over.
Tender form can be had from the concerned Range Offices till 1 p.m. on the day before the auction date on payment
of ` 200 + VAT.
The last date and time of receipt of tender is at 9 a.m. on the auction date.

It is hereby notified that the teak poles, teak billet and jungle wood fire wood collected from final felling of
matchwood planations/Teak Plantation in Kallar, Achencovil & Kanayar Ranges of Achencovil Division will be sold in
public Tender cum Auction at dumping sites shown in the schedule, by the Divisional Forest Officer, Achencovil or any
officer authorised by him, subject to the conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 49 Vol. II dated 10-12-2013 vide
Notification No. Pro. (5) 26274/12, dated 22-11-2013 of the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (P),
Thiruvananthapuram and other conditions prevalent in the Forest Department.
Besides the quantity shown in the schedule, the quantity if any delivered to dumping sites before the date of
Tender cum Auction will also be included in the sale. If the date of Tender cum Auction noted in the schedule is
declared as public holiday, the tender cum auction will be conducted in the next working day at the same time and place
and if the proposed tender cum auction is not held due to other reasons, the same will be conducted on the alternate
dates as shown in the schedule at the same time and place. Tender forms can be had from the respective Range Office
on all working days on payment of ` 400 and VAT.
Date & time of issue of tender forms—Up to 8 a. m. on 23-6-2014.
Alternate date—Up to 8 a. m. on 30-6-2014.
Officer authorised to receive tenders—Range Forest Officer, Kallar/Achencovil/Kanayar.

Those who intend to participate in the Tender cum Auction shall deposit a sum of ` 20,000 as E.M.D. in cash at
the time of submission of tender. Those who intend to participate in the auction alone, shall deposit the EMD at the
above rate before the commencement of auction.
Intending persons may ensure the quantity and quality of materials put up for auction/tender before the
commencement of the same and no complaints will be entertained after the auction/tender. The tenderers/bidders should
produce a Certificate showing the permanent address and signature of the bidders duly attested by the concerned Village
Officer or any other approved identity documents before depositing the EMD. Those who do not produce any
approved identity card or certificate will not be allowed to participate in the tender/auction.
In case any Government Department requires any of the materials put up for the auction the quantity remaining
after their selection only will be auctioned. The quantity that may become ready for sale after the publication of this
notification will also be included in the tender cum auction. Any further notification to the sale conditions that may be
issued by Government after the issuance of this notification will also be applicable to this tender-cum auction.

Kanayar during the working hours.

and stacked at Mattappally, Kavadikkavala and Kallar
dumping depots of Ayyappancovil Range under this
Division as mentioned in the schedule below will be
conducted by the Divisional Forest Officer, Kottayam or
any other Officer authorized by him on 6-6-2014 at the
time specified against the dumping depots noted in the

Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests
(Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide No. Pro. 5-26274/12
dated 11-12-2012 and other sale conditions prevalent in
the Forest Department are applicable to the tender/
auction sale. If the date of auction happend to be a
public holiday or if the sale is not conducted due to
some unexpected reasons like Bandh, Harthal etc., the
sale will be conducted on the next working day at the
same place and time. If the sale cannot be conducted on
the above days due to any kind of unexpected reasons,
the sale will be conducted on 12-6-2014 at the same place
and time. If the sale cannot be conducted on that day
due to any unexpected reason the sale will be conducted
on the next working day at the same place and time.

It is hereby notified for the general information of the public that the Teak Billets separated from Teak firewood
and balance Teak firewood and Teak stumps uprooted collected by final felling works from 1951 Pandupara Teak
Plantation of Kannimangalam Forest Station in Kalady Range under this Division will be sold in a Re-Tender/Auction
sale subject to detailed Tender/Auction sale conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 49 dated 10-12-2013 in Part III on
Pages 815 to 821 (Forest Sheet) by the Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Protection),
Thiruvananthapuram vide Notification No. Pro. (5)-26274/12 dated 22-11-2013 and other rules in force as per the schedule
furnished below. Tender forms will be available in the Forest Range Office, Kalady on payment of ` 200 plus VAT and
tender will be accepted on the date of Tender/Auction sale up to 9 a.m. at the Forest Range Office, Kalady. Tenders
received after the stipulated date and time will not be entertained. If the date fixed for Tender/Auction happens to be a
public holiday, harthal or strike, the auction sale will be held on next working day at the scheduled time and place.
Tender will be opened immediately after auction sale and further action will be taken as per sale conditions. The
intending bidders should satisfy themselves about the quality and quantity of the materials put up for tender/ auction
sale will be available from the Range Forest Officer, Kalady on working hours. Quantity notified is only approximate. Teak
Billets and other materials as mentioned above taken to stock up to a day before the auction will be included in the sale.
If there is no bid or part bid in first date of auction proposed, the undisposed materials will be put up for sale in
subsequent dates as shown in the schedule at the same time and place. The auctioning officer is empowered to conduct
auction completely or partly and postponement of auction without assigning any reason thereof.
The successful bidder/tenderer should remit full bid amount soon after the auction, if the bid amount is less than
` 20,000. If the bid amount is more than ` 20,000, 35% of the bid amount should be remitted on the date of auction
itself subject to a minimum amount of ` 20,000 and a maximum of ` 1,00,000 (One Lakh only) by cash or DD drawn
on a Nationalized Bank. If the 35% of the bid amount exceeds ` 1,00,000 balance amount exceeding One Lakh should
be remitted within seven working days from the date of auction excluding the date of auction by chalan issued by the
Range Forest Officer. Valid post offers if any received will also be entertained as per rules in force.

www.forest.kerala.gov.in

Competitive sealed tenders/Re-tenders are invited by
the undersigned on behalf of Governor of Kerala in the
prescribed form from eligible contractors or agencies/firms
registered as ‘C’ Class and above with Kerala Public
Works Department for various 6 civil works as shown in
the Schedule below in Kozhikode District under Timber
Sales Division, Kozhikode during 2014-15. The tenders
are fixed to be conducted on 5-6-2014. The tender/Re-
tender documents can be purchased from the office of
the undersigned during office hours up to 1 p.m. on the
tender/Re-tender date, on producing attested copy of the
Registration Card. Cost of tender form is non refundable
and the tender form is not transferable. The filled up
tender documents should be submitted on or before 3
p.m. on the date of Tender/Re-tenders. It should be
accompanied by all necessary documents and required
Earnest Money Deposit by way of Bankers DD or Fixed
Deposit or National Saving Certificate or any approved
deposit drawn in favour of pledged in the name of
Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales Division,
Kozhikode, payable at Kozhikode. The intending
Tenderers/should furnish a Preliminary agreement in
prescribed form in Stamp Paper worth ` 100 along with

Incomplete tenders/Re-tenders, or tenders/Re-tenders
without necessary documents or required EMD or Tenders/
not in accordance with tender/Re-tenders conditions will
not be accepted. Tenders/Re-tenders will be opened at
3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of those
tenderers or their authorised representatives who are
present at the time by the Divisional Forest Officer, Timber
Sales Division, Kozhikode or an officer authorized by him.
The Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales Division,
Kozhikode reserves, the right to exclude any work/
postponed to another notified date and also to reject any
tender without assigning any reason thereof. If the
Tender/Re-tender date happens to be a holiday, or the
tender/Re-tender could not be conducted on the notified
date, due to any reason, the Tender/Re-tender will be
conducted at the same place and time on the next
working day, as per the same conditions.
If the Tender/Re-tender could not be conducted on
the said date/dates, Tender for the works will be
conducted at the above place and time with same
conditions on 11-6-2014. If tender/Re-tender could not be
conducted even on this date necessary Tender/Re-tender
for such works will be conducted with same condition at
same place and time on 16-6-2014. Tender/Re-tender for
balance works, if any will be conducted on 20-6-2014 and
tender/Re-tender for remaining works, if any, will be
conducted on 25-6-2014 and Tender for remaining works
if any will be conducted on 30-6-2014 at the same place
and time as per same conditions.
Cost of Tender, forms in respect of works with PAC
from ` 5,000 to ` 50,000 shall be ` 300+ VAT and in
respect of works with PAC of ` 50,001 to 10 lakhs shall
be ` 0.20%+ VAT of the cost of the work rounded to the
nearest multiple of 100 subject to a minimum of
` 400+ VAT and maximum of ` 2,500+ VAT. All existing
rules, regulations, directions etc. prescribed by Kerala
PWD and Kerala Forest Department in respect of civil
works shall be applicable for this tender also.

Before commencing work or within a week after the
date when acceptance of the tender has been intimated
to him, the tenderer shall deposit a sum sufficient to make
up the balance of 5 (five) percent of the probable value
of contract which together with the Earnest Money
Deposited shall be treated as security for the proper
fulfillment of the same and shall execute an agreement for
the work in the PWD schedule form. If he falls to do this
or in the case of PWD contracts not maintain as specified
progress (to be specified in each case in the tender
schedule) the Earnest Money Deposit and security
deposit shall be forfeited to Government and fresh tenders
shall be called for or the matter otherwise disposed off. If
as a result of such measures, due to the default of the
tenderer to pay the requisite deposit, sign the contracts
or take the possession of the work, any loss to
Government due to the same will recovered from him as
arrears of revenue, but should it be saving to
Government, the original contract or shall have no claim
whatever to the difference. Recoveries on this or any
other account will be made from the sum that may be due
to the contract or on this or any other subsisting
Contracts under the Revenue Recovery Act, or otherwise
the Government may decide.

The tender is fixed to be conducted on 12-6-2014 at
the office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests &
Wildlife Warden, Wayanad Wildlife Division, Sulthan
Bathery. The tender forms can be purchased from the
office of the undersigned during office hours upto 1 p. m.
on all working days till the tender date. Cost of tender
form is non refundable. The intending tenderer should
apply with proof of identity such as Electoral Identity
Card, Driving Licence, Indian Passport etc. along with the
Registration Certificate in original to get the tender form.
The tender form should be properly filled up and should
be submitted on or before 2 p. m. on the date of tender.
It should be accompanied by all necessary documents
along with the Earnest Money Deposit by way of
Bankers DD or Fixed Deposit or National Savings
Certificate pledged in favour of Deputy Conservator of
Forests & Wildlife Warden, Wayanad Wildlife Division,
Sulthan Bathery payable at Sulthan Bathery. The
intending tenderers should also furnish a preliminary
agreement in stamp paper worth ` 100 along with tender
of each work.
Incomplete tender or tenders without
necessary documents or tenders not in accordance with
tender conditions will not be accepted.
Tenders will be
opened by the Deputy Conservator of Forests & Wildlife
Warden or an Officer authorized by him at 3.30 p.m. on
the same day, in the presence of those tenderers who are
present at that time.
The Deputy Conservator of
Forests & Wildlife Warden reserves the right to reject any
tender, either partly or wholly without assiging any reason
thereof. If the tender could not be conducted on the
notified date due to any reason, it will be conducted at
the same place and time on the next working day as per
the same conditions.
If the tender for all works or any of the work could
not be conducted on the said date/dates, the tender for
such work/works will be conducted at the same place
and time with same conditions on 19-6-2014. If the tender
could not be conducted on that day also, it will be
conducted on 26-6-2014. If it could not be conducted on
that day also, it will be conducted on 3-7-2014. All existing
rules, regulations, directions, conditions, prevailing in
Kerala PWD and Kerala Forest Department and Store
Purchase Department in respect of civil works shall be
applicable in these works and tender also.
