attested by the Superintending Engineer/Executive

Engineer/State Agricultural Engineer/Executive Engineer

(Agri.), Preliminary Agreement and EMD exemption

certificate (if any) shall be submitted online and

subsequently in a separate cover physically. More details

on EMD & Cost of tender documents/bid submission fee

are mentioned in the Form 83 document.

The bids shall be opened online at the Director of

Agriculture, Vikas Bhavan on 9-2-2015, 2.30 p. m.

by the Director of Agriculture in the presence of the

Bidders/their representatives who wish to attend at the

above address. If the tender opening date happens to

be on a holiday or non-working day due to any other

valid reason, the tender opening process will be done on

the next working day at same time and place.

Online tenders/bids are to be accompanied with a

preliminary agreement executed in Kerala Stamp Paper

worth ` 150. Tenders/bids received online without the

preliminary agreement will not be considered and shall be

summarily rejected. Further details can be had from the

NIT or Assistant Executive Engineer (Agri.), Kasaragod

Scope of Maintenance:

That electrical installations are always healthy

working condition.

Attending day to day routine complaints in

prompt and satisfactory manner.

Ensuring that no breakdown in power supply

happens and to take necessary steps in case of

failure.

Inspecting MSB & SDB in every month under

Qualified Supervisors.

Checking any abnormal noise, heating etc. in the

Substation.

Maintenance includes minor additions and

alterations.

Staff requirement:

There should be minimum one staff (holding ITI

and Wireman competency certificate issued by

Kerala State Electricity Licensing Board with

sufficient experience in HT Installations-proof to be

enclosed along with tender form) available during

office hours, on all working days including

holidays, if needed (approx. 350 days in an year).

Additional staff needed for attending Breakdown

shall be arranged by the contractor.

Eligibility Criteria:

Tenderers should have valid B class license from

Kerala State Electrical Inspectorate/Kerala State

Electricity Licensing Authority.

The tenders should be superscribed “Day to Day

operations and Maintenance of High Tension

Electrical Installations (Comprehensive-inclusive of

labour & minor spares) for State Bio control

Laboratory, Mannuthy” and addressed to the

Deputy Director of Agriculture, State Bio Control

Laboratory, Mannuthy, Thrissur-680 651 so as to

reach at this office on or before 30-1-2015, 2 p. m.

Tender will be opened on 30-1-2015 at 3 p. m. in

the presence of tenderers or their authorized

representatives who may be present at that time. If

the tender date is declared to be a holiday the

tenderes will be received on the next working day

up to 2 p. m. and will be opened at 3 p. m. on the

same day.

Late tenders will not be accepted.

Intending tenderers may, on application to the

undersigned, obtain tender forms up to 1 p. m. on

30-1-2015 cash payment or M. O. remittance. Cost

of tender forms is not refundable. Tender forms

are not transferable.

The tender Number should be quoted on the

request for the tender form. The tender should be

accompanied by a Demand Draft drawn in favour

of Deputy Director of Agriculture, State Biocontrol

Laboratory, Mannuthy, payable at Thrissur

towards the EMD mentioned against each item

and a preliminary bond executed on Kerala State

stamp paper worth ` 100.

The tender rate should be quoted for a single

unit and should be inclusive of all taxes, delivery

and installation charges etc.

The tender rate quoted should be applicable up

to one year after bond execution.

Warranty period should be clearly specified in the

tender.

If tender is confirmed, tenderer will have to

execute a contract bond on Kerala State Stamp

Paper worth ` 100. And deposit a security amount

of 5% of the contract amount, before the supply

of articles as specified in the supply order. If any

deviation from the above terms and conditions is

noticed in your offer, the tender is liable to be
