There may be difference in quantities as shown

Tender forms will be issued upto 4-3-2015,

1 p. m. at the Office of Deputy Conservator of Forests,

Social Forestry Division, Rajeev Gandhi Nagar,

Vattiyoorkavu P. O., Thiruvananthapuram-13. Tender

forms duly filled and sealed will be accepted on the same

day upto 3 p. m. and tenders will be opened in presence

of tenderers present at that time at 3.30 p. m. If the date

of tender happens to be a public holiday, the same will be

held on the next working day at the same time and

venue.

CONDITIONS

1.

The work should be completed within 15 days

from the date of agreement.

2.

The tenderer should install good quality materials

as per the specifications in Social Forestry Range

Office, Attingal within the agreement time.

3.

If the work is not completed within days specified

in the agreement, the tender will be cancelled and

re-tender made at the risk and loss of the original

bidder.

4.

EMD should be remitted as Demand Draft drawn

on State Bank of Travancore, Thiruvananthapuram

pledged in the name of Assistant Conservator

of

Forests,

Social

Forestry

Division,

Thiruvananthapuram and accompanied along with

filled up tender forms.

5.

The quantities mentioned are approximate and

may vary according to actual requirements.

6.

Rates quoted for work should include

transportation charges and existing taxes.

7.

The successful tenderer should remit 5% of PAC

as security deposit for the contract, and enter

into an agreement with Forest Department within

7 days from date of receipt of intimation of the

acceptance of tender.

8.

Final payment of the work will be done only after

ensuring quality of works. 25% of each

preliminary bill will be deducted as retention and

the same will be released subjected to verification

of quality of work.

9.

On satisfactory completion of work and all the

above conditions the Security Deposit will be

released to the tenderer on production of

necessary tax clearance certificate.

10.

The tender is bound by the conditions of Kerala

Store Purchase Rules.

11.

All the conditions stipulated as per Kerala Forest

Code and Kerala Store Purchase manual shall be

applicable for this tender also.

Sealed competitive tenders are invited from registered

and experienced P.W.D. Contractors for and on behalf of

the Governor of Kerala by the Divisional Forest Officer,

Nemmara for the execution of the following works shown

in the schedule furnished below. Sealed covers

superscribing the name of the work will be opened in the

presence of the available contractors by the Divisional

Forest Officer, Nemmara or any other Officer authorized by

him at the stipulated place and time as shown below. The

tender forms will be supplied to the contractors only on

production of their Registration Card, PAN Card and on

payment of the cost and VAT of the tender form. The

tender form is not transferable and the cost of the tender

form is non-refundable under any circumstances.

If the tender could not be conducted on the fixed

day, due to any circumstances, the same will be conducted

on the next working day at the stipulated place and time.

The EMD noted below for each work should be

paid along with the tender form by Fixed Deposit

Certificates or DD drawn at any Nationalized Bank at

Nemmara in favour of Divisional Forest Officer, Nemmara.

A preliminary agreement in the prescribed format in Kerala

Government Stamp Paper worth ` 100 should be attached

with the tender. Incomplete tender or the tender without

the required EMD and preliminary agreement are liable to

be rejected. The Divisional Forest Officer, Nemmara

reserves the right to reject any tender without assigning

any reasons. All the rules and regulations regarding

tender in force in PWD and Forest Department are

applicable to this tender also. The Divisional Forest

Officer will be at his liberty to exclude any of the works

mentioned below from the tender.

The successful tenderer should execute the

agreement and commence the work within 15 days from

the date of receipt of work order. If he fails to execute the

agreement and to execute the work, the works will be

re-tendered at the risk and loss of the original bidder or

execute departmentally. More details of this tender can be

had either from the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer,

Nemmara. This tender notice is also available in the

website of Forest Department (www.keralaforest.org and

If nobody comes forward and participate in the

tender on 26-2-2015 the same will be conducted on

Valley Division, Mannarkkad before 3 p. m. on 28-2-2015.

The tenders received will be opened by the Wildlife

Warden or any other officer authorized by him at 3.30 p. m.

on the same day in the office of the Wildlife Warden,

Silent Valley Division, Mannarkkad. Tender form can be

purchased from the office of the Wildlife Warden,

Mannarkkad on any of the working days till 1 p. m. on

28-2-2015. The registered contractors will be supplied with

the tender forms only on the production of their

registration cards. The cost of the tender form is non-

refundable under any circumstances. Tenders received

undersigned or his deputy on the same day at 3.30 p. m.

in the presence of the tenderers present at that time. In

case the proposed tenders of any work is not materialised

on the scheduled date on 3-3-2015, such tender will be

accepted at the same time on 10-3-2015, such tender will

happens to be a holiday, or the tender could not be

conducted on the above date due to any other reasons,

work should be paid along with the tender form by

Demand Draft (cheque will not be acceptable) drawn in

favour of the undersigned payable at any Nationalised/

Scheduled Bank at Nilambur. Incomplete tender or tender

without EMD and preliminary agreement in stamp paper

worth ` 150 are liable to be rejected. The undersigned

reserves the right to reject any tender without arraying

any reasons and changes the estimate amount marginally

thereof. All the conditions prevailing in the Kerala PWD

condition and in accordance with the other terms and

conditions mentioned below, by the Divisional Forest

Officer, Timber Sales Division, Kozhikode or an officer

authorized by him in the office of Divisional Forest Officer,

Timber Sales Division, Kozhikode at 3.30 p.m. on

11-3-2015. The tender forms will be issued from the office

of the Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales Division,

Kozhikode upto 1 p.m. on all working days from

1-3-2015 till the tender cum auction date. The filled up

tenders should be submitted before 3 p.m. on the tender

date. Subsequently, auction sale of the items will be

conducted at 3.30 p. m. on the same day in the presence

of available persons who have submitted tenders.

In case the notified date happens to be a public

holiday, the tender cum auction sale will be conducted on

the next working day at the notified place and time, as

per the same conditions. Besides, the terms and

conditions mentioned in this notification, all the prevailing

terms and conditions in respect of the tender cum

auction sales in Forest Department etc. will be applicable

to this sale also. If the sale could not be conducted on

the day, it will be conducted on 17-3-2015 at the same

place and time as per the same conditions mentioned

above. If the sale could not be conducted on the day

CONDITIONS

1.

The laterite stone, roofing tiles and hip tiles will

be sold in as and where is condition. Before

participating in the tender cum auction sale,

intending tenderers/bidders should satisfy

themselves of the quality of the items, on personal

inspection with prior permission of the Divisional

Forest Officer, Timber Sales Division, Kozhikode or

the Estate Officer, Vanasree, Mathottam.

Complaints, if any, after the sale in respect of the

quality of the items, will not be entertained.

2.

The intending tenderers/bidders should produce

either their Electoral Identity Card, Indian Passport,

a certificate in respect of their name and permanent

address and also their signature attested by the

concerned Village Officer or any legally valid

Identity Card for getting tender forms or remitting

EMD.

3.

The tender forms will be issued from the office of

the Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales

Division, Kozhikode upto 1 p. m. on all working

days from 11-3-2015 till the tender cum auction

Those who submit tender will only be eligible to

participate in the auction. The tenders submitted

by those who have not remitted EMD will not be

considered.

6.

Intending tenderers/bidders should deposit ` 1,400

by cash as EMD in the office of the undersigned

for participating in the auction.

7.

The auction will be conducted at 3.30 p. m. in the

presence of the available persons, who have

submitted tenders. After the auction, the tenders

will be opened.

8.

The sale will be knocked down (temporarily) in

the name of those who offers highest amount

either in tender or in the auction (whichever is the

highest).

9.

EMD of the successful tenderer/bidder will be kept

for adjusting towards the sale value and EMD of

unsuccessful bidders will be returned after sale.

10.

Successful tenderer/bidder has to remit 50% of the

sale value (including EMD) on the tender/auction

date, if the sale value is more than the EMD.

11.

The right of accepting or rejecting any tender and

issuing orders confirmation of the sale shall be

vested with competent authorities.

12.

The successful bidder/tenderer should remit the

balance amount and taxes and remove the items

within 15 days from the date of receipt of

intimation of the confirmation of the sale.

13.

If the items are not removed within 15 days after

remitting the balance amount, taxes etc. as above,

another 15 days will be allowed for remittance of

balance amount and removal of items after

realization of 12% interest and ground rent of ` 20

per day. Further extension of time will not be

allowed. If the items are not removed even within

this extended period, it will be sold in reauction

cum retender. The amount remitted by the

defaulter on the day of tender cum auction will be

confiscated to Government and the Government

loss, if any shall be recovered from him. He shall

not have any claim on profit, if any, on account

of the retender cum reauction.

14. All the prevailing terms and conditions in respect

of the tender cum auction sales in Forest

Department will be applicable to this auction also.

the undersigned on behalf of Governor of Kerala in the

prescribed form from eligible contractors registered with

Kerala PWD for the following Civil Works in

Sulthan Bathery Elephant Squad Range during 2014-15.

Estimate for the cost of construction of Lorry Shed at

Elephant Squad Range under Wayanad Wildlife Division

during 2014-15—` 2.35 Lakhs.

The tender is fixed to be conducted on 4-3-2015 at

the Office of the Deputy Conservator of Forests and

Wildlife

Sulthan Bathery. The tender forms can be purchased from

the office of the undersigned during office hours up to

1 p.m. on all working days till the tender date. Cost of

tender form is non refundable. The intending tenderer

should apply with proof of Identity such as Electoral

Identity Card, Driving Licence, Indian Passport etc. along

with the Registration Certificate in original to get the

tender form. The tender form should be properly filled up

and should be submitted on or before 2 p.m. on the date

of tender. It should be accompanied by all necessary

documents along with Earnest Money Deposit by way of

Bankers DD or Fixed Deposit or National Savings

Certificate pledged in favour of Deputy Conservator of

Forests and Wildlife Warden, Wayanad Wildlife Division,

Sulthan Bathery, payable at Sulthan Bathery. The

intending tenderers should also furnish a preliminary

agreement in Stamp Paper worth ` 150 along with tender

of each work. Incomplete tender or tenders without

necessary documents or tenders not in accordance with

tender conditions will not be accepted. Tenders will be

opened by the Deputy Conservator of Forests and

Wildlife Warden or an Officer authorised by him at

3.30 p. m. on the same day in the presence of those

tenderers who are present at that time. The Deputy

Conservator of Forests and Wildlife Warden reserves the

right to reject any tender either partly or wholly without

assigning any reason thereof. If the tender could not be

conducted on the notified date due to any reason, it will

be conducted at the same place and time on the next

working day as per the same conditions.

If the tender for all work or any of the work could

not be conducted on the said date/dates, the tender for

such work/works will be conducted at the same place and

time with same conditions on 11-3-2015. If the tender

could not be conducted on that day also it will be

conducted on 18-3-2015. If it could not be conducted on

that day also, it will be conducted on 25-3-2015. All

existing rules, regulations, directions, conditions,

prevailing in Kerala PWD and Kerala Forest Department

and Store Purchase Department in respect of civil works

shall be applicable in these works and tender also.
