Tender forms and other conditions can be obtained

from the office of the undersigned on application in

writing and on payment of the cost of tender form and

taxes in cash (not refundable) upto 1 p. m. on

27-11-2014. The filled up tenders will be received in this

office up to 3 p. m. on 27-11-2014 and opened by the

undersigned or an officer authorized by him on the same

day at 3.30 p. m. at the Office of Divisional Forest Officer,

Ranni in the presence of the contractors attending on

the date. If the due date happens to be a holiday, the

next working day will be the due date.

The tender forms are not transferable. The Earnest

Money Deposit noted against the work should be paid

along with the tenders by Demand Draft (Cheque will not

be acceptable) pledged in favour of the undersigned

payable at any Nationalized Bank/Scheduled Bank.

Incomplete tenders and tenders without EMD are liable to

be rejected. The undersigned reserves the right to reject

any tender without assigning any reasons thereof.

tenders not containing the prescribed preliminary

prevalent in the Forest Department are applicable to this

Re-tender/Re-auction sale. This Gazette notification is

available in the website of Forest Department

www.forest.kerala.gov.in. Any further notification on the

sale conditions that may be ordered by the Government

after the publication of this sale notification will also be

applicable to this sale. If the notified date of Re-tender/

Re-auction is declared as a holiday, the sale will be

conducted on the next working day and if the sale is not

option at least 48 hours before the closing date of bid to ensure that payment towards tender documents fees

by the Gazetted Officer, EMD exemption certificate (if any), preliminary agreement executed in Kerala Stamp

Paper worth ` l00 duly filled up proforma for availing e-payment by Online. Subsequently the hard copy of

attested copy of Registration certificate, EMD exemption certificate (if any), preliminary agreement in original

would be submitted offline in a sealed cover superscribing the name of work and tender number to the office

of the Divisional Forest Officer, Kottayam through Speed Post/Registered Post as prescribed in the time

schedule, failing which such tenders will be rejected.

The bidding authority deserves the right to modify/cancel, any/all Bids without assigning any reason.

The Forest Department will not be responsible for any error like missing of scheduled data while Downloading

by the bidder and non receipt of documents.

happens to be a holiday, the next working day will be the

due date. Cost of tender forms will not be refunded at

any instances.

In addition to the above tender forms and tender

schedules can be downloaded from the Official website

of the Department www.kerala.gov.in/tender/intex.htm.

Filled up tender forms along with other documents shall

be submitted to the undersigned up to 3 p. m. on

20-11-2014 by post or any approved courier service. In the

case of downloaded tender applications, in addition to the

prescribed EMD, a demand draft for the tender form value

from a Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of Wildlife

Warden, Wildlife Division, Munnar payable at Munnar

shall also be enclosed. Other mode of remittance of tender

form cost is not acceptable.

The Earnest Money Deposit noted against the work

should be paid along with the tenders by DD (Cheques

or fixed deposit receipts will not be acceptable) in favour

of the undersigned payable at any Nationalized Bank at

Munnar. Incomplete tender or tenders without EMD are

liable to be rejected. The preliminary agreement in stamp

paper worth ` 100 should be enclosed with tender. The

undersigned reserves the right to reject any tender without

assigning any reason. All other conditions prevailing in

the Kerala Public Works Department and Forest

Department are applicable to this tender notification also.

(i e. 28-11-2014) at 3.30 p. m. by the undersigned or his

authorized representative in the presence of tenederers

present. If no tenders are received by any of the works on

the day of tender, fresh tenders will be accepted upto

3 p. m. on 16-12-2014 and 30-12-2014.

The tender should be submitted separately for each

work without any corrections enclosing the EMD amount

shown in the schedule should be pledged in the name of

undersigned with the tender. The tenders without EMD

will be rejected.

The quantity given in the schedule is approximate

and the undersigned has the liberty to change the

quantity and nature of work. The tenderer cannot claim

additional rate for such changes in works, if any. The rate

quoted should be inclusive of all taxes. The tenderers

should file a preliminary agreement properly signed along

with the tender. The tenders without preliminary agreement

will be rejected.

The successful tenderer should execute an agreement

in Kerala Government Stamp Paper worth `100 within

seven days from the intimation of the acceptance of the

tender. If the agreement is not executed within the time

limit, the work will be executed through other means as per

rules at the risk and loss of the default tenderer.

If the last day for the submission of tender happens

to be a holiday the tender will be accepted and opened on

the next working day on the specified place and time.

collected while final felling of 1948 Teak Plantation, Thencodam of Kaliyar Range & 1941 T. P. Veloor, of Thodupuzha

Range of Kothamangalam Division will be sold in Public Tender/Auction sale by Divisional Forest Officer, Kothamangalam

or any other officer duly authorised by him as per the schedule furnished below subject to detailed Tender/Auction sale

conditions published in Kerala Gazette No. 49 dated 10-12-2013 in Forest Sheet page No. 815 to 821 by Additional

Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Protection), Thiruvananthapuram vide Notification No. Pro (5) 26274/2012 dated

22-11-2013 and other rules and conditions in force. Tender forms will be available in Divisional Forest Office,

Kothamangalam on payment of ` 300 plus VAT up to 1 p. m. on the day before the auction date and sealed tenders will

be accepted up to 3 p. m. on the same day. EMD is to be remitted along with Tender. Tenders submitted after the

stipulated date and time will not be entertained. If the date fixed for Tender/Auction happens to be a public holiday,

harthal or strike, the auction will be held on the next working day at the scheduled time and place. Tender will be opened

Office, Kaliyar and Thodupuzha. Materials taken to stock up to a day before auction will be included in sale and the

quantity shown here is approximate. If there is no bid or part bid in the 1st date of auction, the balance materials will be

put up for sale on subsequent dates as shown in the schedule at the same time and place. The Auctioning Officer has

Kerala Public Works Department for following civil works

in Thamarassery and Kuttiady Forest Ranges during

2014-15. The tender is fixed to be conducted on

22-11-2014. The tender documents can be purchased from

the Office of the undersigned during office hours upto

1 p. m. on 22-11-2014. Cost of tender form is non

refundable. The tender documents should be properly

filled up and should be submitted on or before

2.30 p. m. on 22-11-2014. It should be accompanied by all

neccessary documents, along with Earnest Money

Deposit by way of bankers DD, or fixed deposit or

National Saving Certificate or any approved Certificate

drawn in favour of Divisional Forest Officer, Kozhikode,

furnish a preliminary agreement in stamp paper worth

Incomplete tenders, or tenders without necessary

documents or tenders not in accordance with tender

by the Divisional Forest Officer, Kozhikode or an Officer

authorized by him. The Divisional Forest Officer reserves

the right to reject any tender either partly or in full,

without assigning any reason thereof. If the tender date

happens to be a holiday, or the tender could not be

conducted on the notified date, due to any other

reasons, the tender will be conducted at the same place

and time on the next working day, as per the same

conditions.

If the tender for all works or any of the works could

not be conducted on the said date/dates, tender for such

works will be conducted at the above place and time with

same conditions on 25-11-2014. If tender could not be

conducted even on this date necessary tenders

Sealed competitive tenders are invited from eligible “A” Class Contractors registered in the Forest Department in

pursuance of G.O.(MS) No. 226/81/Forest, dated 16-12-1981 for felling trees, working down and transporting timber, poles,

billets and firewood from the marked trees of 1953 Teak Plantation, Panniyode in Kannavam Range mentioned in the

schedule below to the Depot and stacking of timber poles, billets and Fire wood mentioned in the same schedule.

Note:—The contractors who have registered under “A” Category should produce Solvency Certificate issued by the

Revenue Department or a Bank Guarantee by a bank approved by Government (Nationalised or Scheduled

Bank) under the Bank Guarantee Scheme as follows:—

1.

The successful tenderer should submit a solvency from the revenue authorities or a bank guarantee issued by

a nationalized bank for 10% of the tender amount, if the tender amount exceeds ` 3,00,000. The successful

tenderer should execute an agreement in the prescribed format in a stamp paper worth ` 100 within 15 days

from the date of intimation of acceptance of the tender after furnishing security deposit equal to 10% of the

tender amount or ` 2,00,000 whichever is more. Post offers as per the existing rules shall also be entertained.

The tenderers quoting rates separately for timber, poles, billets and firewood shall not be entertained under

any circumstances.

Tender forms can be had from the Divisional Forest Officer, Kannur on payment of the cost and VAT shown

in the schedule hereto on any working day during office hours up to 1 p.m. on 27-11-2014. The tender forms

shall be used only by the person in whose name it is issued and for the works specified in the schedule

given below. Value of tender form will not be refunded. Tender form sold to any persons does not be

changed or transferred to other Ranges.

The tenderers shall fill the tender forms purchased from this Office and submit the same together with all the

papers intact. Tender should be addressed in a sealed cover with name of work clearly written thereon, to the

Divisional Forest Officer, Kannur so as to reach him in his Office at Kannur before 3 p. m. on 27-11-2014.

Tenders will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on 27-11-2014.

Tenderers should quote uniform percentage of the sanctioned estimate rate at which they can take up the

work specified in the schedule both in figures and words (Fraction of one per cent should not be quoted).

5.

PAC amount may be change subject to the approval of the estimate.

6.

All the correction in the tender form should be initialed by the tenderer himself.

7.

The EMD of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded to them soon after opening of tender.

8.

Sealed tenders will be opened by the Divisional Forest Officer at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence

of such tenderers who elect to be present on the occasion.

9.

If the last date fixed for the receipt of tenders happens to be a holiday, the tenders will be received and

opened on the next working day at the same time and place on the conditions specified above.

10.

Tenders received after the specified date and time, without the requisite enclosures or tender not written up

in proper order in form, will be rejected.

11.

Each tender should be accompanied by a deposit receipt obtained from an approved Bank in favour of the

Divisional Forest Officer, Kannur as Earnest Money Deposit for the work.

12.

Further details can be had from the Divisional Forest Officer, Kannur or Range Officer of the above Ranges

on any working days during office hours.

The quantities mentioned in the above table are approximate and on actual execution the quantities may vary.

The quantity is approximate and there may be change in the Depots to which materials is to be delivered. The

estimate is subject to approval from Chief Conservator of Forests, Northern Circle, Kannur. The tenderer is

bound to work down the entire trees marked in the plantation to the Depot/Depots as per the direction of the

Departmental staff. Penalty as per rules will be levied by the Forest Department from the tenderer, if any tree is

unfelled or for the delay of transportation of timber in time. Undersigned reserves all rights for cancelling any

work at any time without further intimation. All the prevailing conditions are applicable for this tender also.

the conditions before submitting tenders. The quantity of timber and firewood mentioned in the notification is approximate

and may be changed.

Period of Contract—3 (Three) Months from the date of agreement.

If there is no sufficient response on tender on above said date, tender will be held again on 3-12-2014 and

9-12-2014 at the same time and place. Conditions applicable for tender on 27-11-2014 shall be applicable for tender.
