It is decided to sell the 574 Nos. of Accassia trees

(includes fallen down and existing) having more than 15

years old situated in KAP IV Battalion campus which has

an extend of 87 acres and 83 cents of land through public

auction/tender on 11-5-2015 at 11 a. m.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

(1)

Every person who intends to participate in the

auction/tender

must

remit

amount

` 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) being

caution deposit. The auction/tender will be

confirmed to the person who bid/tender for the

highest amount. The caution deposit of the

others will be returned. The person who got the

auction/tender is liable to remit 35% of total

amount on the same day itself including VAT,

Forest Development Tax and Caution Deposit

already remitted. The remaining amount must be

remitted within 10 days from the date of

confirmation of auction/tender. After getting the

confirmation of the auction/tender from this

office the person who got the auction/tender must

remove the trees from the camp as early as

possible with his own expenditure.

Those who are interested to submit sealed

tenders are requested to submit the same with the

receipt of caution deposit, remitted in Battalion

Office in the name of Commandant, KAP IV

Battalion, Mangattuparamba, Kannur District-

670 567 through post or in person to reach

before 11-5-2015 before 10 a.m. The cost of

tender form is ` 3,500.

10 % of the bid amount must be remitted as

security deposit. A part from this the bidder who

got the auction/tender must have to submit an

agreement in Stamp Paper worth ` 100.

The trees can be verified in the presence of

Asst. Commandant (Q. M) on all working days

prior to the auction in between 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The department will not be liable at any rate to

any losses sustained after the auction to the

bidder who got the auction.

If the bidder who got the auction acts aganist the

terms and conditions mentioned above the

auction will be cancelled and re-auction will be

conducted. The loss in this regard, if any

substained to government will be recouped from

the bidder, and will not be eligible for any profit,

if any, from the re-auction.

The Commandant, KAP 4 Battalion will have all

rights to postponed or cancel the auction

without showing any reason. This auction is

subjected to all the rules of government related

to public auction.
