E-TENDER NOTICE

No. P1-3471/2015/4584.

E-tenders are invited through www.etenders.kerala.gov.in

for the supply, installation, commissioning and

satisfactory operation of variable data and Q. R code

printing as an online system (using ink jet printing

technology) in our Harris M-300 model web offset printing

machine, in two bid system with the technical specification

attached.

Terms and Conditions

1

All tenders/bids shall be accepted only through

online mode (https:// etenders.kerala.gov. in) and no

manual submission of the same shall be allowed.

2.

EMD for ` 1,50,000 for the item and cost of tender

form (` 22,500 + tax) should be remitted through

online.

Re-submission of offer is possible, before last date

as permitted in the site.

4.

Offers are acceptable only up to 10.30 a. m.

on 19-12-2015.

5.

Opening of Technical bid is scheduled at 10.30 a.m.

on 23-12-2015.

6.

Prices should be quoted f.o.r KBPS, Kakkanad,

Ernakulam, Kerala.

7.

If any taxes has to be paid extra this should be

specified clearly in your offer/BOQ.

8.

The offer should be valid up to six months from

the date of opening of the tender.

9.

The scanned copy of the tender document and

agreement ` 500 Kerala Stamp Paper duly filled

and signed shall be submitted online and

subsequently the original in a separate cover

should reach the office of the undersigned on or

before the opening time of the tender.

10.

The copy of all the documents submitted online,

should reach the office of the undersigned on or

before the opening time of the tender.

11.

All the rights to accept or reject whole or part of

the tender without assigning any reason thereof is

reserved by the undersigned/Sr. Officers like

HOD’s etc. The decision of Managing Director/

Sr. Officers like HOD’s will be final and binding on

the tenderer.

12.

All rules and regulations of the tender/bid shall be

in accordance with the Stores Purchase Manual of

the Government of Kerala.

Details of the Online barcoding and Q. R. code

printing system that is to be attached with our

existing Lottery printing machine-Harris M-300

web offset printing machine.

Proposal for the supply, installation, commissioning

and satisfactory operation of variable data and Q. R.

code printing as an online system (using ink jet printing

technology) in our Harris M-300 model web offset printing

machine with the following technical specification.

Variable data printing details:

1.

The variable data is to be printed on sheets of

range 50-90 GSM paper. The data printed on the

sheet should be 100% dried and scratch proof.

2.

The bar codes and Q. R. codes printed by the

variable data printing machine must be 100%

scannable at high speeds.

3.

The variable data printing system should have the

specification and capability to run at 600 x 600 dpi

resolution.

4.

The inks used in the system should be eco friendly

and does not produce any hazardous components

to environment and human life while in contact with

it or its residue/waste.

5.

The system should be capable to run in heavy

industrial production environment.

6.

The console in the variable data printing system

must be handled by only using P. C. controller.

7.

The variable data printing system should

incorporate the following optional feature:

a.

Integration of camera system/scanners for the

verification of the printed variable data, so as

to avoid the present manual checking

procedure.

Eligibility for the successful tenderer

a.

The eligible party should display the live demo in

our Harris M 300 model web offset printing machine

successfully online in between the folder and

sheeter units ensuring speed and other quality

parameters of ink jet printing by this system, if

required.

b.

Minimum Three year comprehensive warranty

should be provided
