and signature of the bidders duly attested by the concerned Village Officer, or any other approved Identity documents
along with the EMD through online. Those who do not produce any approved Identity Card or Certificate will not be
eligible to participate in the e-auction.
The intending bidders should satisfy themselves about the quality and quantity of the thinned materials put up for
e-auction sale and no complaints will be entertained after the e-auction. The quantity that may become ready for sale after

certified materials for the Forest and Wildlife Department
or any department for the following work.

Period before which work is to be completed—

The equipments/materials should possess quality
certification by Central Power Research Institute,
Bangalore or D. G. S. & D., New Delhi. Tender

duly filled up to proforma for availing e-payment by
Online. Subsequently the hard copy attested copy of
Registration Certificate, EMD exemption certificate (if any)
preliminary agreement in original, signed copy of
conditions would be submitted offline in a sealed cover
subscribing the name of work and tender number to the
Office of the Divisional Forest Officer, Nilambur South
Division through Speed Post/Registered Post as
prescribed in the time schedule, failing which such tenders
will be rejected. The bidding authority deserves the right
to modify/cancelled any/all bids without assigning any
reason. The Forest Department will not be responsible for
any error like missing of scheduled data, while
downloading by the bidder and non receipt of documents.

Competitive sealed tenders are invited by the
undersigned on behalf of the Governor of Kerala in the
prescribed form from eligible contractors or agencies/firms
registered as ‘C’ Class and above with Kerala Public
Works Department for two civil work as shown
below in Kozhikode District under Timber Sales Division,
Kozhikode during 2015-16. The tenders are fixed to be
conducted on 22-2-2016. The tender documents can be
purchased from the office of the undersigned during
office hours upto 1 p.m. on the tender date, on producing
attested copy of the Registration Card. Cost of tender
form is non refundable and the tender form is not
transferable. The filled up tender documents should be
submitted on or before 3 p. m. on the date of tender. It
should be accompanied by all necessary documents and
required Earnest Money Deposit by way of Bankers DD,
or Fixed Deposit or National Saving Certificate or any
approved deposit drawn in favour of/pledged in the name
of Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales, Kozhikode,
payable at Kozhikode. The intending tenderers should
furnish a Preliminary agreement in prescribed form in
Stamp Paper worth ` 200 along with tender for each work.
Tender Number and Name of work should be
superscribed legibly on the sealed envelope containing the
tender documents.
Incomplete tenders or tenders without necessary
documents or required EMD or tenders not in accordance
with tender conditions will not be accepted. Tenders will
be opened at 3.30 p. m. on the same day in the presence
of those tenderers or their authorised representatives who
are present at the time by the Divisional Forest Officer,
Timber Sales, Kozhikode or an officer authorized by him.
The Divisional Forest Officer, Timber Sales, Kozhikode
reserves the right to exclude any work/postponed to
another notified date and also to reject any tender without
assigning any reason thereof. If the tender date happens
to be a holiday or the tender could not be conducted on
the notified date, due to any reason, the tender will be
conducted at the same place and time on the next
working day, as per the same conditions.
If the tender could not be conducted on the said
date/dates, tender for the works will be conducted at the
above place and time with same conditions on 25-2-2016.
If tender could not be conducted even on this date
necessary tender for such works will be conducted with
same condition at the same place and time on 29-2-2016.
Tender for balance works, if any will be conducted on
3-3-2016 and tender for remaining works, if any, will be
conducted on 8-3-2016 and tender for remaining works if
any will be conducted on 11-3-2016 at the same place and
time as per same conditions.
Cost of tender forms in respect of works with PAC
upto ` 50,000 shall be ` 300 + VAT and in respect of
works with PAC of above ` 50,000 upto 10 lakhs shall be
` 0.20% of the cost of work + VAT subject to a minimum
of ` 500 + VAT and maximum of ` 2,000 + VAT. All
existing rules, regulations, directions etc. prescribed by
Kerala PWD and Kerala Forest Department in respect of
civil works shall be applicable for this tender also.
Before commencing work or within a week after the
date when acceptance of the tender has been intimated
to him, the tenderer shall deposit a sum sufficient to make
up the balance of 5 (five) percent of the probable value
of contract which together with the Earnest Money
Deposit shall be treated as security for the proper
fulfillment of the same and shall execute an agreement for
the work in the PWD schedule form. If he falls to do this
or in the case of PWD contracts not maintain as specified
progress (to be specified in each case in the tender
schedule) the Earnest Money Deposit and security
deposit shall be forfeited to Government and fresh tenders
shall be called for or the matter otherwise disposed off. If
as a result of such measures, due to the default of the
tenderer to pay the requisite deposit, sign the contracts
or take the possession of the work, any loss to
Government due to the same will recovered from him as
arrears of revenue, but should it be saving to
Government, the original contract or shall have no claim
whatever to the difference. Recoveries on this or any
other account will be made from the sum that may be due
to the contract or on this or any other subsisting
Contracts under the Revenue Recovery Act, or otherwise
the Government may decide.

in original would be submitted offline in a sealed
cover superscribing the name of work and tender
number to the office of the Deputy Conservator of
Forest & Wildlife Warden, Wayanad Wildlife
Division, Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad (Dist.),
Pin-673 592 through speed post/ registered post as
prescribed in the time schedule, failing which such
tenders will be rejected.

The bidding authority deserves the right to modify/
cancel, any/all bids without assigning any reason.
The Forest Department will not be responsible for
any error like missing of scheduled data while
downloading by the bidder and non receipt of
documents.

hours. The details regarding e-payment (Bidder’s
bank account number where he/she is having core

along with the tender. Tenders without these details
will not be accepted. Technical bid and financial bid
shall be submitted in their respective designated
online covers.

The Forest Department will not be responsible for
any inconveniences or loss to the Bidder while
uploading/downloading the bid.

The tender/bids shall be opened online at the office
of the Deputy Conservator of Forest & Wildlife
Division in the presence of bidders/their representatives
who wish to attend at the above address. If the
tender opening date happens to be on a holiday or
non working day due to any other valid reason, the
tender opening process will be done on the next
working day at same time and place.
