Sealed Tenders are invited for the Automation of

Library in Malayalam Department in University College,

Thiruvananthapuram under Plan Scheme 2015-16.

Face Value—` 2,50,000.

The envelopes containing the Tenders should be

superscribed as “Tenders for the Automation of Library in

Malayalam Department (6/A5/1362/Plan/Lab/UC/15)” and

addressed to The Principal, University College,

Thiruvananthapuram so as to reach in this College on or

before 2 p. m. 1-3-2016. Late Tenders will not be accepted.

The Tenders will be opened at 3 p. m. on

1-3-2016 in the presence of the Tenderers or their

authorised representatives who may be present at

that time.

Tender forms can be had from the College Office

from 10.30 a. m. to 1 p. m. on the working days till

1-3-2016. The Cost of the tender form is ` 526 (Rupees

Five Hundred and Twenty Six only) including VAT +

Cess. The cost of duplicate Tender Form will be

` 316 (Rupees Three Hundred and Sixteen only), which

is price fixed for a tender form and which is not

refundable under any circumstances. The tender forms are

not transferrable.

Along with tender, EMD @ 1% of the amount

tendered, subject to a minimum of ` 1,500 (Rupees One

Thousand and Five Hundred only) should also be

submitted in the form of DD. Tenders without sufficient

EMD are liable to be rejected. The firm who are exempted

from furnishing EMD should be enclosed the attestted

copy of exemption order. Every tender should be

accompanied by an agreement in the Kerala Stamp paper

worth ` 200 (Rupees Two Hundred only).

The price quoted should be inclusive of all taxes

and duties. Otherwise rate of taxes charged upon each

item should be quoted against the prices of each item.

The rate quoted should be valid upto 31-3-2016.

The successful tenderers should sign an agreement

in Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 200 (Rupees Two Hundred

only) and deposit 5% value of the contract as Security

Deposit.

The articles should be supplied in the College Office

at the cost of the firm itself. The payment will be effected

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR DE-WATERING

PUMP

(DIESEL DRIVEN)

Engine: Reputed make, four stroke diesel driven

developing power of not less than

3.5 HP with

manual Recoil Start. Engine must be tested and

certified as per BIS standard and Certificate of

BIS/CE should be submitted.

Pump should be single stage, centrifugal type with

one suction inlet of 75mm (with ‘U’ threaded

male end) and one delivery outlet of 63mm (with

instantaneous female coupling and valve). The inlet

of the pump shall be protected with brass or steel

filter to prevent entry of grit and other materials.

Proper draining system to drain the water should

be provided.

Expected performance: The pump should provide

a discharge of more than 600ltr. per minute under

normal climatic condition.

Primer: Pump should be equipped with self priming

system. It should have a capacity of lift the water

from a depth of 3 to 4 meters within 30 seconds at

normal temperature and pressure.

Frame Work: Platform used for the mounting of

the pump shall be vibration free, strong and

long lasting. It shall be study rugged with four

number

handles

for

easy

lifting

and

transportation. Proper protection should be

provided on hot Surfaces which shall be kept

away from pump handling areas. The handle

shall be fitted with synthetic or rubberized

hand grips.

Dimensions and weight: Pump should be

compact in size and dimensions of length,

Technical Specification for Chain Saw (Petrol Driven)

atleast 48 hours before the closing date of bid to

The bidding authority deserves the right to
