NOTICE OF PUBLICATION OF DRAFT MASTER PLAN

FOR KOZHIKODE URBAN AREA

UNDER SECTION 36(4) OF THE KERALA TOWN AND COUNTRY

PLANNING ACT, 2016

(ACT NO. 9 OF 2016)

It is hereby notified that the Draft Master Plan for

Kozhikode Urban Area prepared by the Joint Town

Planning Committee, Kozhikode in respect of the Joint

Planning Area consisting of the whole area of Kozhikode

Corporation, Feroke Municipality, Ramanattukara

Municipality, Olavanna Grama Panchayat and Kadalundi

Grama Panchayat, with boundaries as described hereunder:

North: Chemencheri Grama Panchayat, Thalakkulathur

Grama Panchayat, Kakkodi Grama Panchayat

and Kuruvattur Grama Panchayat.

East:

Kunnamangalam Grama Panchayat, Peruvayal

Grama Panchayat and Perumanna Grama

Panchayat.

South: Malappuram District.

West:

Lakshadweep Sea.

has been published in the official website of the Local

self Government Institutions of Kozhikode, Feroke,

Ramanattukara, Kadalundi and Olavanna namely,

section 36(4) of the Kerala Town and Country Planning

Act, 2016 (Act No. 9 of 2016).

A copy of the Draft Master Plan is also kept for

inspection by the public during office hours at the office

of Kozhikode Corporation, Municipalities of Feroke and

Ramanattukara and Grama Panchayats of Olavanna and

Kadalundi.

Any person interested in the Plan may communicate

in writing to the Secretary of Kozhikode Corporation/

Feroke Municipality/Ramanattukara Municipality/ Olavanna

Panchayat/Kadalundi Panchayat, as the case may be, any

objection or suggestion relating thereto within sixty days

from the date of the publication of the Notice in the

Official Gazette.
