Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the

supply of Lab Equipments to Physics Lab of T. M. Govt.

College, Tirur, for a Total Cost of ` 4,83,300 under the

scheme of General Development Assistance to Colleges,

UGC XII Plan.

The envelope containing the tender should be

superscribed as “Tender No. 1/2016-17/UGC. Supply of

Lab Equipments to Physics Lab under the scheme of

General Development Assistance to College, UGC XII

Plan’’ and addressed to ‘The Principal, T. M. Govt.

College, Tirur, Vakkad P. O., Malappuram Dist., Kerala Pin-

676 502, The last date and time for receipt of filled

tender is at 2 p.m. on 20-12-2016. The tenders will be

opened at 3. p. m. on the same day in the presence of

such tenderers or their authorized representative who may

be present at that time. Sale of tender form will be closed

on 20-12-2016 at 12 noon. Late tenders will not be

accepted at any account.

Intending tenderers may make an application to the

Principal to obtain the requisite tender form in which

tenders should be submitted. The original tender form

duly filled and signed only will be accepted. Application

for the tender form should be accompanied by a cash

remittance of ` 1,050 (including VAT) which is the price

fixed for a tender form and which is not transferable.

Cheques, Postal Orders and Postal Stamps will not be

accepted towards the cost of tender from and the tender

form will not be sent by V.P.P. Those who require tender

form by registered post should sent the cost of tender

form ` 1,100 including postal charges for registered post

by Money Order. Every tender should be accompanied by

an agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 200.

“The articles should be supplied within one month on

the receipt of the purchase order to this College at your

own expenses”.

The period of firmness of rate quoted will be up to

31-3-2017. Rates, VAT and condition of supply of articles

should clearly be stated separately in respect of each item.

The tenders should be accompanied by an EMD of

1% (Minimum `1,500) of the total cost in the form of

Demand Drafts drawn in favour of the Principal,

T.M. Govt. College, Tirur, Payable at SBI, Tirur Branch

5 Melde’s string apparatus:

Electrically maintained tunning fork fixed

on a sturdy base. The fork is made of steel.

The tunning fork should produce vibrations

at a rate 60 per second. The position of the

electromagnet should be adjustable so that

the amplitude of vibration may be varied.

Provision should be there to attach string

at the end of the prongs of the tunning

fork. The set up should be workable on

220-240 VA. C.

6 Scale and telescope arrangement:

The telescope should be mounted on a

specially designed carriage with supporting

to stop abrupt falling. The carriage should

be fitted with two adjustable screws for

precise vertical and horizontal positioning.

The whole arrangement mounted on a long

steel pillar, fitted on a cast iron base with

leveling screws. A scale holder with

scale should also be fitted vertically on the

steel pillar.

To study the magnetic field along the axis

of a circular coil. The apparatus consists

of a circular frame made up of non-magnetic

substance. An insulated Copper wire is

wounded on the frame. Should have variable

number of turns. The frame is fixed to a

long base at the middle in a vertical

plane along the breadth side. The base has

leveling screws. A Magnetic compass box

(magnetometer) is supported on a movable

platform. This platform can be moved along

the axis of the coil. The compass box is so

arranged that the center of the magnetic

needle always tie on the axis of the coil.

The distance of compass box from the

centre of the circular coil can be read

directly from the scale attached.

Dual output DC Regulated power supply:

The tender should be superscribed as “Supply of

Computers & Electronic equipment under “Accreditation of

Colleges with NAAC during 2016-17/Plan” and addressed

to the Principal, Govt. Arts & Science College, Mankada,

Kolathur Post, Malappuram District, Kerala, India, Pin-679

338. The last date and time of receipt of filled tender is on

22-12-2016 at 2.30 p.m. and will be opened on the same

day at 3 p. m. Sale of tender forms will be closed on the

same day at 2 p. m. Late tenders will not be accepted.

Intending tenderers may, make an application to the

Principal, Govt. Arts & Science College, Mankada,

Kolathur Post, Malappuram District, Kerala, India,

Pin-679 338 to obtain the requisite tender form on which

tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender

form should be accompanied by a cash remittance of

` 1,000 (Rupees One thousand only) towards cost of

tender form plus ` 50 (Rupees Fifty only) towards

VAT (1,000+50=1,050) which is the prize fixed for a tender

form and which is not refundable under any circumstances.

Cooler Cum Purifier of this college for total cost of

` 1,80,000 (Rupees One Lakh Eighty Thousand only)

under 2016-17 Plan Scheme. The envelope containing the

tender should be superscribed “Water Cooler Cum Purifier

under Plan Scheme during 2016-17” and addressed to the

Principal, Government Arts & Science College, Kondotty-

Vilayil P. O., Malappuram District, Kerala, Pin-673 641.

The last date of receipt of tender will be 1 p. m. on

8-12-2016. Late tenders will not be accepted at any

account. The tenders will be opened at 2.30 p.m. on the

same day in the presence of such tenderers or their

authorized representatives who may present at that time.

The intending tenderers may on application to the

Principal Government Arts & Science College, Kondotty

to obtain the requisite tender form, on which tender

should be submitted. The original tender form duly filled

only will be accepted.

Application for the tender form should be

accompanied by a cash remittance of ` 420 (Rupees Four

Hundred and Twenty only) (including VAT) (Rate of

duplicate tender form is ` 210 (Rupees Two Hundred and

Ten only), which is price fixed for a form/set of forms

circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable.

Sale of tender forms will be closed at 1 p. m. on

8-12-2016. Cheques, Postage Stamps etc. will not be

accepted towards the cost of tender form, nor will the

forms be sent per V. P. P. Duplicate tender forms, if

required will be issued at ` 210 per copy. Those who

require tender forms by registered post should sent the

cost of tender form ` 450 (Rupees Four Hundred and

Fifty only) including postal charges for registered post by

money order. Every tender should be accompanied by an

agreement in the Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 200. Those

firms outside Kerala want to get tender form by post will

be sent ` 200 as cost of Kerala Stamp Paper along with

the cost of tender form. The articles should be supplied

with in 30 days on receipt of the purchase order in the

College at your expenses.

The period of firmness of rate quoted will be up to

31-3-2017. Rates, S. T. and condition of supply of articles

should clearly be stated separately in respect of

each of them.

The tenders should be accompanied by an EMD 1%

(one percent) of the quoted value in the form of either in

cash or crossed Bank Drafts or Treasury Savings Bank

Deposits or Government Promissory Notes or Bank

Guarantee or National Savings Certificate. The EMD

should be ` 1,800 (Rupees One Thousand Eight

Hundred only). Tenders without sufficient EMD are liable

to be rejected. EMD will not carry any interest. The firms

Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of

Furnitures under the Head of Account of "Modernisation

of Edusat class rooms and PG class rooms (Plan) 2016 for

a total amount of ` 2,95,000. The tender should be

superscribed as “Tender No. 04/2016-17(Plan) for the

supply of Furnitures (Plan) 2016” and addressed to the

Principal, Government Brennen College, Dharmadam,

Thalassery-6. Sale of tender form will be closed on

26-12-2016 at 2 p. m. The last date for receipt of tender

form at 3 p. m. on 27-12-2016. Late tenders will not be

accepted. The tenders will be opened at 27-12-2016 at

3.30 p. m. in presence of tenderers or their authorized

representatives who may be present at that time.

Intending tenderers may on application to the

Principal, Government Brennen College, Dharmadam,

Thalassery-6 obtain requisite tender forms on which

tenders should be submitted. The cost of tender form is

` 630. Application form should be accompanied by a cash

remittance of ` 630 at the office or by Money Order

which the price is fixed for a form and it is not

refundable under any circumstances. Cheques, Postage

Stamps, Postal Orders, Demand Drafts etc. will not be

accepted towards the cost of tender forms. Forms will

not be sent by VPP. Tender forms are not transferable.

Every tender should be accompanied by an Earnest

Money Deposit @ 1% of the total cost of the articles

tendered for. This is subject to a minimum of

` 1,500. Tender form if required by post an additional

amount of ` 40 should be sent.

An agreement executed in Kerala Stamp Paper worth

` 200 is to be submitted along with the tender. Kerala

Stamp Paper will be supplied to the tenderers outside the

State in case they required for the same and remit by

Money Order an additional amount of ` 220 (` 200 for

Stamp Paper and ` 20 for incidental expense). Duplicate

tender form if any required will be issued at

` 315 per copy only to those who purchased the original

tender form.

The Principal reserves himself the right to accept or

to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof.

The financial bid belonging to those manufucturers

or their authorised dealers who qualified in the technical

bid of the equipment required by Kerala Fire and Rescue

Services Department alone will be considered. Tenderers

are advised to produce the samples before the Head

Office Technical Committee at the time of opening or

subsequently during the period of tender evaluation.

On finalization of the same, The second cover ie;

the financial bid of the concerned competent firm will be

opened for consideration.

The originals of Complied Technical Specification,

Agreement in stamp paper worth ` 200 the declaration on

Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 200 Brochures/Photograph

and the sample of the item intended to supply shall be

produced before the undersigned soon after the Financial

Bid opening.

After opening the financial bid, financial evaluation is

made only after consultation with the DPC and the

decision of the DPC shall be final and will be uploaded in

the financial evaluation field of the e-tender site whether

the tender is financially admitted or not and thereafter the

awarding of the contract.

The Head Office Technical Purchase Committee

headed by the Divisional Officer, Kerala Fire and Rescue

Services, Thiruvananthapuram will scrutinize the tenders

received evaluate them and will taken decision suitably.

The decision of the Head Office Technical Purchase

Committee will be final for the award of the contract.

The right of acceptance or rejection of e-tender or
