Sealed competitive tenders are invited for the “Supply
of equipments to the Departments of Government
Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram”.
Estimated Cost—` 5,00,000.
Tenders should be superscribed “Supply of
equipments for the Departments of Government Ayurveda
College, Thiruvananthapuram” addressed to the Principal,
Government Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram. The
last date of the receipt of tenders will be at 3 p. m. on
20-12-2016. The late tenders will not be accepted. The
tenders will be opened at 3.30 p. m. on 20-12-2016 in the
presence of such of the tenderers or their authorized
representatives who may be present at that time.
Intending tenderers may on application to the
Principal,
Government
Ayurveda
College,
Thiruvananthapuram to obtain tender forms on which
tenders should be submitted. Application for the tender
forms should be accompanied by cash remittance of
` 1,575 (Cost of tender form ` 1,500 + VAT ` 75) which is
the price fixed for a form and which is not refundable
under any circumstances. Tender forms are not
transferable. Sale of tender forms will be closed at 3 p. m.
on 19-12-2016. Cheque, Postal Orders etc. will not be
accepted towards the cost of forms. Those who wish to
purchase tender forms by post shall send an additional
amount of ` 50 by money order to cover postal charges.
Duplicate tender forms, if required will be issued at ` 788
per copy.
Intending tenderers should submit an amount of 1%
of the quote amount as Earnest Money Deposit by
Demand draft in favour of the Principal, Government
Ayurveda College, Thiruvananthapuram together with an
agreement in Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 200. The rate
quoted shall remain firm for acceptance till one year from
the date of acceptance. The Principal, Ayurveda College,
Thiruvananthapuram will have powers to postpone/cancel
the tender. If Government have declared 20-12-2016 as a
public holiday, the tender will be opened at the same time
on next working day. Further details can be had from the

If complaints are reported, the supplier should take back the item at their cost and risk.

Departments of Govt. Medical College, Manjeri as per
list attached. Tender forms and details can be obtained
from the office of the Principal, Govt. Medical College,
Manjeri on payment of tender cost. Tender should be
superscribed with tender No. and addressed to the
Principal, Govt. Medical College, Manjeri. Belated
tenders will not be accepted. Each tender should be
submitted along with an agreement signed and executed in
Kerala Stamp Paper worth ` 200 and EMD @ 1% of the
total cost of items tendered for/minimum ` 1,500
Stamp Paper will be supplied to the firm outside Kerala
on request along with remittance of ` 250 by Money
Order in favour of Principal, Govt. Medical College,
Manjeri. Specimen copy of the agreement is annexed
with the tender form. Rates should be quoted in Indian
Rupees only. All the taxes applicable are to be clearly
mentioned. Freight, Insurance, Loading, unloading,
erection and commission charges and installation should
be borne by the tenderer. Payment also will be made in
Indian rupees.
The tender without the required Earnest Money
Deposit, agreement and not satisfying other tender
conditions are liable to be rejected without further
notice. Tender form is not transferable. Cheque, Draft,
Postage Stamps etc. will not be accepted towards the
cost of tender forms. Duplicate copy of tender form can
be obtained on payment of cost. The tender will be

form be sent per V. P. P. Duplicate tender forms, if
required will be issued at the rate mentioned above
including VAT per copy.
As per tender condition the tenderer should send
along with his tender an agreement executed and signed in
Kerala Stamp Paper of value ` 200 and an EMD of 1%
of the total cost of the articles tendered. Tenders without
agreement and EMD will be rejected. Those who want the
tender form by post should send the cost of the tender
including VAT by Money Order to the undersigned.
Outside firms who desire to get Kerala Stamp Paper
should send an additional amount of ` 250 along with the

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.
Bidder should supply original (genuine) items.
Institute will not accept any duplicate or
substandard items. If any item is subsequently found
to be of a substandard (inferior quality)/substitute
refurnished, the same will be rejected.
2.
The supplier will be responsible for delivery of
items in good condition at their own risk and cost.
In case of any manufacturing defect of any shape/
kind, the item shall have to be immediately replaced
with a new one.
3.
The cartridges shall be in original packing from the
manufacturer clearly indicating manufacturing date,
expiry date & maximum retail price (MRP) inclusive
of all taxes etc.
4.
Rates should be quoted clearly for the different kind
of Toner Cartridges as mentioned in Annexure A.
Nothing over and above the quoted rates shall be
payable.
5.
The complete tender document and all other
required enclosures/documents/Annexure should be
signed on each page by the authorised person.
NB:—Prices quoted shall be inclusive of taxes,
installation, freight and other incidental charges.
Tenderer will have to produce the sample if any
requied by the purchasing officer at their own cost.
