Application for tender forms should be accompanied
by a cash remittance price fixed for form which is not
refundable. The tender forms are not transferable. The
sale to tender form will be closed at 1 p.m. on 13-2-2017.
Cheques, Drafts, Postage Stamps etc. will not be
accepted towards the cost of forms nor forms sent by
V.P.P. However money order (including telegraphic money
orders) sent in the name of the Superintendent of Police,
Telecommunication, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram-4 will be
accepted. The amount should include the postage/courier
for sending tender documents. The money order along
with the request should reach Telecommunication
Headquarters, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram at least
3 days before the closing of the sales of the tender
documents enabling us to sent the document well in
advance.
Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) @ 1% of the quoted
value (Rounded to the nearest rupee and subject to a
minimum of ` 1,500) should be furnished through DD
(Demand Draft) drawn in favour of the Superintendent of
Police, Telecommunication, Thiruvananthapuram-4 along
with the tender documents. The firms which are exempted
from furnishing EMD should produces a copy of relevant
authorized document for verification. The tenders without
EMD will be cancelled. The quoted amount should be
inclusive of all taxes and levies. The lowest quoted bidder
should be ready to supply the items within one week.
Specification shall be obtainable from the Office of
the Superintendent of Police, Telecommunication, Pattom,
Thiruvananthapuram with the tender forms during working
hours. The firm should also furnished the details
specifications, make, brochures, test report from Govt.
laboratories/agencies, (wherever possible) along with the
tenders. The tenders without separate envelope and not
superscribing the tender number and sample will be
rejected.
The firm should supply samples at Telecommunication
Headquarters, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram at their
expense for technical evaluation test along with the
submission of tender. The same can be taken back by the
firm at their expense after tender procedure. The decision
of the Technical Evaluation Board will be final. The firm
should mention the warranty/guarantee of the items
separately.
As the items are urgently required, the selected
bidder will have to supply the item without loss of time.
The rates quoted should be valid and firm till 31-3-2018.
Those firms registered with store purchase rule
department and is under the control of Government
should enclose the certificate in proof of it.
The Superintendent of Police, Telecommunication,

14-2-2017 at 3 p. m. and the tender will be opened at
11 a. m. on 15-2-2017 in the presence of such of the
tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be
present at that time. Late tenders will not be accepted.
Indending tenderers may on application to the
Principal, Govt. College of Engineering, P. O.
Parassinikkadavu, Kannur-670 563 obtain the requisite
tender forms on which tenders should be submitted.
Application for the tender forms should be accompanied
by a cash remittance of ` 1,050 which is the price fixed for
a form/set of forms and which is not refundable under any
circumstances. The tender forms are not transferable. Sale
of tender forms will be closed at 2 p. m. on 14-2-2017.
Cheques, Postage Stamps, DD, I.P.O. etc. will not be
accepted towards the cost of forms, nor will the forms be
sent as per V.P.P. Duplicate forms, if required will be issued
at ` 525 per copy.
Those who want tender form by post should sent an
additional amount of ` 30 towards the postal charge. Sale
of tender forms will begin only after publication the
notification in dailies.
