NOTICE OF DRAFT MASTER PLAN FOR KOTTAYAM

[UNDER SECTION 36(4) OF THE KERALA TOWN AND COUNTRY

PLANNING ACT - 2016 (ACT NO. 9 OF 2016)]

It is hereby notified that the Draft Master Plan for

Kottayam prepared by the Joint Town Planning Committee,

Kottayam in respect of the Joint Planning Area consisting

of the whole area of Kottayam Municipality, Vijayapuram

Grama Panchayat and Panachikad Grama Panchayat with

boundaries as described hereunder:

North:

Ettumanoor Municipality, Athirampuzha

Grama Panchayat, Arpookara Grama

Panchayat.

East:

Manarcadu Grama Panchayat, Ayarkunnam

Grama Panchayat, Puthupally Grama

Panchayat and Vakathanam Grama

Panchayat.

South:

Kurichy Grama Panchayat and Alappuzha

District.

West:

Thiruvarpu Grama Panchayat, Aimanam

Grama Panchayat, Arpookara Grama

Panchayat and Alappuzha District.

has been published in the official website of the Local

Self Government Institutions of Kottayam Municipality,

Vijayapuram Grama Panchayat and Panachikad Grama

Panchayat namely http://www.kottayammunicipality.in,

http://www.lsgkerala.in/vijayapurampanchayat,

http://www.lsgkerala.in/panachikkadpanchayat as per

section 36(4) of the Kerala Town and Country Planning

Act 2016 (Act No. 9 of 2016).

A hard copy of the Draft Master Plan is also kept

for inspection by the public during office hours at the

office of Kottayam Municipality, Vijayapuram Grama

Panchayat and Panachikad Grama Panchayat.

Any person interested in the Plan may communicate

in writing to the Secretary of Kottayam Municipality,

Vijayapuram Grama Panchayat and Panachikad Grama

Panchayat, as the case may be, any objection or

suggestion relating thereto within sixty days from the date

of the publication of the Notice in the Official Gazette.
