It is hereby notified that, the Chairman, University

Grants Commission as informed vide letter referred above,

has nominated Dr. K. K. Saju, Director, International

Relations and Academic Admissions and Professor in

Mechanical Engineering, CUSAT, Kochi-22 as the

representative of University Grants Commission in the

Syndicate of Cochin University of Science and

Technology in accordance with the provisions under

Section 17(1) (ix) of Cochin University of Science and

Technology Act, 1986.

The nomination shall take effect from 30-8-2017 and

the term of Office of the nominated member in the

Syndicate of the University will be subject to the

provisions contained in the Cochin University of Science

and Technology Act, 1986 and Statutes thereunder as

amended from time to time.
