under sub-section (2) of section 39 of the said Ordinance
read with rule 62 of the Kerala Goods and Services Tax

KUHS—Election of 2 members each from the
Senate (other than students) & Governing Council to the
Students’ Council of KUHS by the Senate & Governing
Council from among its members [Sub. Sn. (2) (b) (iii) &
(iv) of Sn. 38 of KUHS Act 2010]—Election Notification
Published.
Where as it has become expedient to elect 2
members each from the Senate & Governing Council to
the Students’ Council of KUHS by the Senate (other than
students) & Governing Council from among its members,
it is hereby notified that an election will be held
otherwise than postal ballot as per the provisions
contained in Part C of the KUHS Election statutes.
Only those, whose names have been included in the
Electoral Roll as published by the University on
17-10-2017 are eligible to take part in the election and
vote thereof, provided that any person who ceases to be
a member of the Electoral Body before the date of poll
shall not be entitled to participate in the election.
Copies of the Electoral Rolls can be had from the
University Office on payment of ` 200 per copy. Every
elector is at liberty to nominate a member of the Senate
(other than students)/Governing Council as the case may
be to the Students’ Council. Every nomination shall be in
writing and shall be seconded in writing by another
Elector. Nomination should be made in prescribed form,
copies of which will be supplied on request from the
office of the Registrar & Returning Officer or can be
downloaded from the University Website.
