RE-e-TENDER NOTICE

No. P1-3404/2018/2305. 17th May 2018.

e-tenders are invited through www.etenders.kera1a.gov.in

for the Overhauling of our Orient X-cel Web Offset

Printing Machine, in two bid system with the details and

terms and conditions attached.

Details of the Machine

Orient X-cel (36000) Web Offset Printing Machine in

578 mm cut-off size, slit type plate lock up system

purchased and commissioned during 2009-10.

Terms and Conditions

All tenders/bid shall be accepted only through

online mode (https://etenders.kerala.gov.in) and

only manual submission of the same shall not be

allowed.

f o r ` 64,000 should be remitted through

online.

Re-submission of offer is possible, before last

date as permitted in the site.

Offers are acceptable only up to 12 p. m. on

20-6-2018.

Prices should be quoted F.O.R. KBPS, Kakkanad,

Ernakulam, Kerala.

The offer should be valid up to 6 months from

the date of opening of the tender.

The scanned copy of the agreement in ` 200

Kerala Stamp Paper duly filled and signed shall be

submitted online and subsequently the original in

a separate cover should reach the office of the

undersigned on or before the opening time of the

tender.

The copy of all the documents submitted online,

should reach the office of the undersigned on or

before the opening time of the tender.

The indenting tenderers can visit the machine

during working hours up to 18-6-2018 and submit

the offers through e-tender.

The offer should include

a. Technical Bid which includes: Detailed report

on visit/status of the machine, fields in which

service/rectification required, spares list, labour

and maximum period required for the

overhauling and warranty confirmation.

b. Financial Bid which includes BOQ in which the

tenderer has to quote the total cost

involvement for spares, labour charges,

transportation, food and accommodation

charges of labours, freight charges of spares,

applicable tax, Trials and production, any

miscellaneous expenses etc.

Accordingly the Technical bid will be opened at

12 p. m. on 23-6-2018.

After opening of the Technical bid, the technically

qualified bidders should submit the split up of

total cost involvement as in 10 (b) (including unit

cost of spares), in a closed cover before opening

of financial bid, which will be duly intimated.

13.

Any additions/deletions of spares/works will not

be entertained after the opening of technical bid.

14.

Price should be quoted in Indian Rupee only.

15.

Minimum 3 years comprehensive warranty should

be provided.

16.

The final payment to the successful tenderer, if

awarded with the overhauling work, will only be

made according to the actual requirement of

spares and labour charges, based on certification

of our Technical team and the unit cost submitted

as per clause 12.

17.

Advance payment requests will be considered

only as per the rules and regulations in the Stores

Purchase Manual of Kerala State.

18.

All the rights to accept or reject whole or part of

the tender without assigning any reason thereof is

reserved by the undersigned/Sr. officers like

HOD’s etc. The decision of Managing Director/Sr.

Officers like HOD’s will be final and binding on

the tenderer.

19.

All rules and regulations of the Tender/Bid shall

be in accordance with the Stores Purchase

Manual of the Government of Kerala.

20.

The overhauling work should be carried out

within the premises of KBPS where the machine is

installed.
