Thiruvananthapuram, 30th May 2018.

Whereas, the Government are of opinion that an

industrial dispute exists between the Manager, Kannur

District Co-operative Bank, Peravoor Branch, Peravoor P. O.,

Kannur District, Pin-670 673 and the workman of the

above referred establishment Sri K. K. Saseendran

s/o N. Raghavan, ‘Sreenandanam’, Edayannur P. O.,

Mattannur, Kannur-670 695 in respect of matters

mentioned in the annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of Government it is

necessary to refer the said industrial dispute for adjudication;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by

Section 10 (1) (c) of the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947

(Central Act XIV of 1947) the Government hereby direct

that the said industrial dispute be referred for adjudication

to the Labour Court, Kannur. The Labour Court will pass

the award within a period of three months.

Whether

the

denial

of

employment

to

Sri K. K. Saseendran, by the management of

Kannur

District

Co-operative

Bank,

Peravoor P. O., Peravoor, Kannur is justifiable

or not ? If not, what relief the worker is

entitled to ?

workman of the above referred establishment represented

by (1) the Secretary Malabar Estate Workers Union

(I. N. T. U. C.), Meppadi P. O., Wayanad District

(2) Smt. Kunjilekshmi, P. F. No. 140, Chembra Peak Estate

Ltd., Varyad—Coffee Estate, Muttil P. O., Wayanad in

respect of matters mentioned in the annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of Government it is

necessary to refer the said industrial dispute for

adjudication;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by

Pin-670 692 and the workman of the above referred

establishment Sri Thankachan, V. T. (Paulose), Valiya

Parampil House, Kelakam, P. O. Ambayathode, Kannur

District, Pin-670 651 in respect of matters mentioned in the

annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of Government it is

necessary to refer the said industrial dispute for

adjudication;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by

Section 10 (1) (c) of the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947

(Central Act XIV of 1947) the Government hereby direct

that the said industrial dispute be referred for adjudication

to the Labour Court,Kannur. The Labour Court will pass

the award within a period of three months.

Aluvila Cashew, Nedumpana P. O., Kureeppally, Kollam ,

(2) The Proprietor, S. S. Cashews, Punjiri Junction,

Mylappur, Umayanallur P. O. , Kollam and the workman

of the above referred establishment Sri Vincent, Poikayil

Puthenveed, Nedumpana P. O., Kureeppally, Kollam in

respect of matters mentioned in the annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of Government it is

necessary to refer the said industrial dispute for

adjudication;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by

Section 10 (1) (c) of the Industrial Disputes Act of 1947

(Central Act XIV of 1947) the Government hereby direct

that the said industrial dispute be referred for adjudication

to the Labour Court, Kollam. The Labour Court will pass

the award within a period of three months.

ANNEXURE

Whether the termination of employment to

Sri Vincent, roaster by the Management of

Aluvila Cashew, Nedumpana P. O., Kureeppally,

Kollam on 31-12-2008 is justifiable or not ? If

not what relief the worker is entitled to ?
