ORDER

As per paper read as first, notification has been issued for the amendment to incorporate 47 existing non teaching

posts to the schedule of Non teaching service in Ordinance 3(1), Chapter XV of the Calicut University First Ordinances

1978, which has been approved by the Senate at its meeting held on 29-12-2014 and assented to by the Hon’ble

Chancellor on 22-2-2018.

As per paper read as second, the Hon’ble Chancellor has ordered to initiate appropriate corrective measures to

rectify the irregularity in the date of implementation of the above amendment, which is not in conformity with the existing

rules and to furnish explanation for deviation/violation from the provisions of the Act.

Considering the above, sanction has been accorded by the Vice Chancellor on 28-8-2018 to cancel the above

notification and to issue fresh notification without mentioning the date of effect of the amendment.

Hence the Notification No. 33538/GA-I-F1/2015/Admn. dated 2-8-2018 stands cancelled.

Orders are issued accordingly.
