of Vacation Judges—reg.

The High Court of Kerala will remain closed for the

Onam Holidays, 2019 from 6-9-2019 to 17-9-2019 (both

days inclusive) as already notified. The Vacation Court

sitting during the Onam Holidays shall be held

on 17-9-2019.

Under Section 8 of the Kerala High Court Act, 1958,

the Honourable the Chief Justice is pleased to nominate

the following Honourable Judges as Vacation Judges for

hearing all urgent matters which are required to be

immediately or promptly dealt with during the Onam

Holidays:—

Hon’ble Mr. Justice Shaji P. Chaly

Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Annie John

Hon’ble Mr. Justice V. G. Arun

Hon’ble Mr. Justice N. Nagaresh

Hon’ble Mr. Justice N. Anil Kumar

Only really urgent matters including company matters

which are required to be immediately or promptly dealt

with, will be received in the Registry of the Court during

the Onam Holidays, provided they are accompanied by

memo giving reasons for urgent posting.

Matters to be moved before the Vacation Judge/

Bench may be filed in the Filing Section of the Registry

between 10 a. m. and 1 p. m. on all days except Sundays

and other public holidays. Unless otherwise directed by

the Vacation Judge/Bench, no matter shall be sent to the

Judge/Bench on the same day of its filing.

Section 13 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973

(Central Act 2 of 1974), the High Court of Kerala hereby

period of one year with effect from 30-5-2019 and confers

upon him all the powers conferred upon Magistrate of

the Second Class under the Code in regard to the cases
