In exercise of the powers conferred by section 11 (3)
of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1973, the High Court
of Kerala hereby appoints the person mentioned in
Column (1) of the following schedule to be Judicial
Magistrate of First Class to preside over the Court
specified against her name in Column (2) from the dates
she take charge and empowers her to try, in a summary
way, all the offences mentioned in sub Section (1) of
Section 260 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

Thiruvananthapuram as Honorary Special Judicial
Magistrate of the Second Class, Thiruvananthapuram for
the period from the date of assumption of charge as such
till 30-9-2020.

Confers upon the said Sri N.Venugopalan Nair
all the powers conferred upon a Magistrate of the
Second Class under the said Code in regard to the cases
generally arising in the Corporation area of
Thiruvananthapuram and empowers him to try such cases,
sitting singly in the said area;
