It is hereby notified that on expiry of the term of appointment of Dr. K Mohammed Basheer, Vice Chancellor of
this University, the Chancellor, University of Calicut, in exercise of the powers conferred under 10(19) of the Calicut
University Act 1975, as per Notification No. GS3-1120/2019(2), dated 19th November 2019, ordered that pending
appointment of a Vice Chancellor on regular basis, Dr. V. Anil Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Thunchath Ezhuthachan
Malayalam University shall exercise the powers and perform the duties of the Vice Chancellor of University of Calicut in
the vacancy arose on the expiry of the term of appointment of Dr. K Mohammed Basheer, Vice Chancellor, University of
Calicut with effect from the afternoon of 20th November 2019, in addition to his normal duties, until further orders.
Accordingly, Dr. V. Anil Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Thunchath Ezhuthachan Malayalam University has assumed the
charge of the office of the Vice Chancellor of this University with effect from the afternoon of the 20th November 2019.
