NOTIFICATION

In exercise of powers conferred by section 112 of the Factories Act, 1948 (Central Act 63 of

1948) and as required by sub-section (1) of section 115 of the said Act, the Government of Kerala

hereby publish for general information the draft rules further to amend the Kerala Factories Rules,

1957.

Notice is hereby given that the said draft rules will be taken up for consideration on or after

Labour and Skills (B) Department

DRAFT RULES

1. Short title and commencement.– (1) These rules may be called the Kerala Factories

(Amendment) Rules, 2023.

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. Amendment of the Rules.– In the Kerala Factories Rules, 1957,-

(i) For APPENDIX - I, the following APPENDIX shall be substituted, namely:-
